Feneroin Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 And this bug isn't fixed yet: http://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/vledefaultdefault-in-ACP-r2976/
Management Charles Posted February 19, 2015 Management Posted February 19, 2015 Yes all issues marked Pending in the bug tracker are still pending.
CheersnGears Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Yes all issues marked Pending in the bug tracker are still pending. You'd think that would be rather obvious... but...
Kirill N Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Yes all issues marked Pending in the bug tracker are still pending. My issue is being resolved via a support ticket (905663) for a month because it takes days for staff to reply. I understand you guys work hard and you're not supposed to provide fast support for pre-releases but it's not just some cosmetic bug or a broken feature, it's something that makes a site almost completely unusable. I'd appreciate it if you could escalate that ticket.
Pete T Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 take rc2 has been pulled off on ips website.
Tibory Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 take rc2 has been pulled off on ips website.I wonder why :s

Yes, if the ticket is not closed and you are still working with the staff then it is not yet fixed.
TheSonic Posted February 19, 2015 Author Posted February 19, 2015 take rc2 has been pulled off on ips website.Oops, yep, it's no longer available in the ClientArea... Hmmm... Perhaps a temporary problem....
Carl M Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Yeah i downloaded RC2 but soon as installed a fresh test install i couldn't log in on the test site. Obviously no idea if this was the reason it was pulled or just a coincidence.

Yes, if the ticket is not closed and you are still working with the staff then it is not yet fixed.I understand that, what I'm saying is that support team takes too long to reply. For example, Mark was about to look into my issue yesterday but my server automatically blocked your VPN. He told me that and I fixed it in just over 5 minutes, however, it took him 24 hours to reply and this time he can't log into the AdminCP. I sorted that out in 5 minutes, but haven't heard back. I'm guessing I'll get the next response on Friday and if there's something else I'll have to wait till Monday and probably miss RC3 too.
Kirill N Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 ^ I have no idea why Admin CP is a link in my post, looks like a bug

As I said tickets are, by their nature, going to take longer as they are usually unique scenarios. During the beta/RC stage it is to be expected. You may wish to wait until the final release if normalize support is critical to you.
Feneroin Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 take rc2 has been pulled off on ips website.I wonder why :s RC2 has been revoked?Because:http://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/rc2-upgrade-r3076/
CheersnGears Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Interesting... so since I already upgraded to RC2, should I upgrade again? Is this RC2a now?
Management Charles Posted February 19, 2015 Management Posted February 19, 2015 It's just that one file patch if you encounter problems with profile images. If you only downloaded RC2 recently it's already in the zip.

Kirill N Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 That means you installed a beta on a live site, against IPS's advice? No, talking about a test site.
Hexsplosions Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 No, talking about a test site. Phew!
Heosforo Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I wonder if my new design will be affected if I upgrade?
