The Jimmo Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Just tried to do an upgrade from 3.4.7 to Beta 3 and was hitting errors every step but after hitting retry it resolved themselves, got to about 1/4 the way through and now I hit an unknown error. The log states a table cannot be found but it is there. Running the stated query results in success if I run it in my MySQL editor.
Maurice H. Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Upgrading from 3.4.7 I am getting"Query #ID 0" error, Location: Step 1. Application CoreDon't have a clue what the error means. All folders are in place and with correct permissions.Anyone else got the same error?

kotaco Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I'm getting a plain white screen on the main forum page. Same here, haven't looked at the error logs yet. But I did notice in the AdminCP (which still worked for a little while before throwing errors) that everything updated to Beta 3 except forums. Oh well, hoping Beta3a will clear everything up.
sadel Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 when downloading the files directly through the IPS Clients area i get all the files when downloading through my site admin cp i get a small zip, missing files/folders Re-uploaded the 10k files and all works fine

Management Charles Posted December 3, 2014 Management Posted December 3, 2014 Beta 3a is out now which fixes these common upgrade issues.
The Jimmo Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 soooo... Now I'm getting columns don't exist errors.
wmarcy Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I too ma getting mysql errors, but I figure it was from the partial upgrade that occurred initially. I might wipe it all clean and do a fresh install.
ossipetz Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 the upgrade with beta 3a (beta4?) worked. there was a message during the upgrade to execute:ALTER TABLE `ibf_posts` DROP INDEX `post`;but that table does not exist. After the upgrade the button "go to community" (URL/?&) or any link on the board index into a forum leads to an exception:exception 'ErrorException' with message 'Invalid argument supplied for foreach()' in /home/tftest/htdocs/system/Output/Output.php:839 Stack trace: #0 /home/tftest/htdocs/system/Output/Output.php(839): IPS\IPS::errorHandler(2, 'Invalid argumen...', '/home/tftest/ht...', 839, Array) #1 /home/tftest/htdocs/system/Dispatcher/Front.php(402): IPS\_Output->buildMetaTags() #2 /home/tftest/htdocs/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(126): IPS\Dispatcher\_Front->finish() #3 /home/tftest/htdocs/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #4 {main} Error code: EX2:-(
