Is there away to have it so the shoutbox only shows on the index page and not all pages?

I just installed the shoutbox but it's not working. I can't seem to make any shouts. It gives me this error:

nopermission

Can someone help me with this? Even though i set the permissions for myself to be allowed to use the shoutbox i can't post shouts at all for some reason.

ACP> Tools & Settings> System Settings> Forums> Hook: Global Shoutbox

Display on?
Select where to display the global shoutbox.
NOTE: This setting won't have any effect if you are using the sidebar hook

how can i move the ip.shoutbox over the secondary nav? i could not find anything about there.

Hello,

I have chosen to exclude from the following pages...

app=portal,
app=contact,
app=nexus
app=ipchat

Though I am not able to hide the shoutbox on registration page. I have tried adding app=core&module=global&section=register but that does not work.

Anyway I can do this ?

Suggestion for the next release:

In case when guests cannot see shoutbox, there could be an information page instead of classic error page. Error page won't be indexed in search engines. I want to inform visitors about chat but don't allow to see discussion for unregistered users.

You can ^ I only have shoutbox on specific pages ie not nexus, not contact page etc etc, havent figured out the registration page though.

If I click on BBCode a window pops up with this error message:

I have problem with a short date which I set in ACP (Tools & Settings > System Settings > IP.Shoutbox > Global Configuration) - "Today time format" is not showing correctly. In Shoutbox view I have only "Long time format" of my Today shouts.

I localize this problem:

Is there any way to make it so that the latest shouts are at the bottom. And that the text box is a single line at the bottom?

Links pasted into the chatbox that contain spaces, or more importantly '%20' spacers break.

How the link should parse: http://www.website.com/example%20space
How the links currently are: http://www.website.com/example space

Is this any easy fix? :)

please help me, I upgraded my board to the latest version, re-uploaded all the files with ftp, reactivate the plugin but it doesn't work!!!

Theres a shed load of unanswered questions, so I am probably wasting my time asking, but if a mod deletes someones shout, is it possible for me to see that record of what was deleted ?
(I have checked the moderator logs, and the shoutbox actions are not logged there.....)

A few of my members have problems with shoutbox auto bbcode parsing.

Example:

This happens at random and I have no idea why it happens. Any idea?

I installed Shoutbox1.1.3 and wnen I try to shout am getting the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method IPSText::removeMacrosFromInput() in /home/chadaya1/public_html/taravad.com/admin/applications_addon/other/shoutbox/modules_public/ajax/coreAjax.php on line 252

To answer a few questions (and I don't know Shoutbox inside and out)

There are no moderator logs recorded as far as I am aware, so no it will not log mod actions.

The "Fatal error: Call to undefined method IPSText::removeMacrosFromInput()" usually happens if you are using either Shoutbox 112 on 312 (possibly 313 or 314) , its basically a mismatch of Shoutbox version and board version. If you are using board 3.1.4, you must use Shoutbox 113. If you are using say 312 (I am not 100% sure on the exact version) you will need Shoutbox 112 (downloadable from the same page) although it is better to keep board up to date too really.

on HookGlobalShoutbox template, there is this portion of the template:

The "height:{d['shout_height']}px" can be substituted with a number and erase the <img> tag. This should make the height static.
