Posted March 24, 201014 yr Profile Page Settings: There should be setting for member to pick a starting page for their profile 1. About me page 2. Resent Status Updates 3. Topic or Posts 4. Etc Thanks
March 25, 201014 yr Author This is going to be a problem for my board. People spent time on their about me page and right now 3.1 Beta shows Recent Status Update page first...
March 25, 201014 yr This is probably a situation where skinning is the best option, for now at least. If the About Me tab is more important than the Status Update tab for your community, you can edit the template and reverse the order.
March 25, 201014 yr I think the member should be able to decide which tab the page starts out on. Some may prefer to go straight to status updates, others may prefer the About Me tab or some other tab added by a mod/app.
March 25, 201014 yr I like the idea of allowing the member to determine which tab to show first. For instance, I don't update my status all that often, so I might want about me as the first tab. Or if I'm a modder, perhaps I want my list of files to be the first tab. etc.
March 26, 201014 yr Author I think giving user to pick a start page is the best option for this... :)

May 18, 201014 yr Author This won't be in 3.1, no. Thanks for the info... next question? Is in the to-do list???? Thanks
November 25, 201014 yr Ok, I'm on it. So far, I can send the focus to a tab defined by the user in User Control Panel: This is made by a hook; no file edit! I'll try to reoder the tabs via hook as well... guess I will have good fun for the weekend.
