Hi all I went to upgrade my website today however it seems my server provider had not upgraded to php8.1 and the upgrade became stuck on an error. I contacted server provider and they have upgraded to php8.1 but my upgrade is still stuck and the website is down. Any advice on how I can restart/reset the upgrade?

So when using the "Articles" database in pages, I have a choice to display the index page so that it looks more like a blog and less like a forum: That's great. However if I go to a category, then all articles are shown as one list, more like a forum, and no longer like a blog. Is there an easy way to change the view of a category so that it gives me a more of a blog like view just like for the database index? Thanks!

In notifications about a new post in a topic one follows, there's a sample of the text from the new post. Is there a way to remove that sample? Unfortunately a lot of users think that the notification email is the answer to their question and they continue the discussion by responding (by email) to the notification email, instead of clicking the "Go to Post" button and posting in the forum.

A prospective new member is annoyed by the login form because it says "You did not pass the security check. Please try again." but he doesn't see a security check and does not know how to try again. What could have happened there?

I think I remember an announcement that there would be a new feature where I can display a message when a member logs in, and they have to acknowledge it before they can move on and use the site, did that make it to 4.7.1 ? Where can I find it? Thanks!

Hi ! i have a question and would love some advice on how to do this if it is possible , which im sure it is . I have many groups that i establish on the Forum and have to shift Members from Group to Group . The way i have been doing this is through the ACP going to Members, searching for the member , clicking the View Member once i have found the member and then Editing the Groups to add or subtract that particular Member. This is very time consuming , right ? So my question , is there an ADD XXX MEMBER TO XXX GROUP function that would make this process alot easier then my way of doing it now? What am I doing wrong? I have a banner ad in the footer. Unfortunately, on mobiles, the banner does not shrink responsively. I've tried with both 'image' ads and 'html' ads. Thoughts? Anyone else have the same issue? Thx.

I'm trying to attach the forum software to a Wordpress site. During install we're prompted to add in the license key, and after that I get this error: The Wordpress site is hosted on WPEngine, and they support team can't help with this, as the permissions are locked to: Directories: 0775 Files: 0664 What options do we have to install the forum with this limitation applied? To enable extra functionality, we need to request extra permissions. The extra permissions required are manage_pages,publish_pages,publish_to_groups. To correct, sign in again below. but on clicking sign in again a new page opens but no content loads up and the page becomes non-responsive please help

Hi everyone. I have search the guides and forum for 2 days and can not find the answer. Currently. My forum requires everyone to either sign in or register. You can not see the site otherwise. I want to change that. I would like the site to be viewable by unregistered guests/anyone who visits the domain. If they would like to post? Well then they have to register. My problem is: I can not find a setting that adjusts my forum to these wishes. I swear I saw a check box to deactive mandatory registrations. Can anyone help? Thank you.
