Blank Board

I installed the RC1 as an upgrade on my test forum just fine. From Beta 2 to RC1. And when I go to my board, there is NOTHING there. Just a blank page. I can get into my ACP just fine, but I cant see my board at all. And yes, the board is marked as Online. I dont THINK this is a bug, I probably just screwed up. Just wondering what I did wrong? Im glad this isnt my live board, or I would be really freaking out about now. :)

I just wanna know, if I can change something so instead log in to upgrade, it doesn't go onto overview, but can jump right tp upgrade. This may help one or two people that I have seen with having the random "Your installation is up to date; no upgrade required" even when they are not.

I have some images I changed for the IPB Default skin to be more customized and I was wondering if I should use the ones I was using before or change them from scratch again. What I'm just asking is are the images on say the main index page of the forum the same as they were before?

I don't see where to Enter a URL to an online photo image, I have looked around in the ACP, dont see where to adjust or add it, I 0 to diallow upload photos & dont see it or anything. So am curious am looking in wrong places or is this messed up? Thanks

Would it be a big deal to allow admin to bulk PM groups? For example, l'd like to remind the members who do the football tipping to get their tips in. At the moment l have to enter each name, but it would be easier to put them in a secondary group and mass PM the group. :thumbsup:

Functions to add to mysql_admin_queries.php

Can you please add the following functions to the sources/sql/mysql_admin_queries.php file: msg_get_cc_usersmsg_get_msg_posterThose two functions are used by the PM library functions when sending personal messages. Any mods or other addons inside the ACP that need to send PMs using the func_msg.php file will require those functions be present in the loaded cache file. Otherwise the mods have to do a less elegant workaround like inserting the PM stuff using a few custom DB queries.

i have edited the show_subforum_all_links template, putting in it the {ibf.lang['sub_forum_title']} macro, but on the board this is not converted to the macro value, it's printed as is {ibf.lang['sub_forum_title']} is it a bug or can someone help? this is my full template <br /><span class="subforumlinks"><img src="style_images/<#IMG_DIR#>/nav_m_dark.gif" border="0" /><b>{ibf.lang['sub_forum_title']}:</b> $links</span>

I hope this is the place to post this. I uploaded the zip file that you download from the customer center and then uploaded via FTP using binary mode to my site. Then I unzip it and that goes fine. I run through the installer, and tell it the directory I want to install it to, in this case "board" directory. It runs through the installer just fine, and finishes with no errors. I then try to go to the board and get "The page /board/index.php could not be found on www......" The only file in the board directory is config_global.php and that is all. Any words of advice?

I just installed RC1 release and the version check feature in the admin area seems to not be loading. I looked at the source and noticed it is a different document than the 2.1.7 board I have running live. Is this because the 2.2 release is not finished yet?

Anyone else getting skin issues after they upgraded to 2.2 RC1 from Beta ( and reverting all skins during upgrade)? It seems it is not loading the correct templates xml or CSS or something. None of the new IPB styles are working correctly for me?

(above quote from the original announcement of IPB 2.2's features) I just installed a clean copy of the RC1 from my client center. I added a signature to myself and made several replies to a post. This feature stated above does not work. I see my signature on every single post in the topic. I think this is a great idea, but I haven't a clue if it's been finalized, or removed, or what. Any ideas, or am I just not looking in the right place to enable it in the ACP? A per-user setting of this would be fantastic... let the user decide if they want to see a certain member's signature once or every time in a topic.

I just want to ask how complicated it could be, to update to further versions like a RC 2 oder the final version from the RC 1? If there aren't any roblems espected and it stays just as easy as it ever was, I want to install RC 1 on my board and test it on my own. I think to risk of data loss is very small, because the server where the forum is running on is doing backups every hour of almost everything (like ysql database and files). Normally it is no problem to change back to the last backup.
