http://www.invisionpower.com/piracyreport.php is broken it runs into an error. *** odair a big warez site under the version 2.3 now that isnt allowed ;) ps. I dont have ipb 2.xxxx because my parents wont allow me to buy it so i cant have paypal etc :'( thats why I do this job :unsure:

Find Template Bit Feature

Ever since I upgraded to 2.2, the "Find Template Bit" thing has always puzzled me in the skin editor. I upgraded from 2.0.4 to 2.2, but I think the change was made on 2.1 with the new ACP layout. That same feature on 2.0 and earlier was extremely helpful. I could find some HTML in the source code, search for it in the skin editor, and make the necessary changes. Now with the new search, I don't exactly know to to use it. Could anyone tell me the difference and maybe point me into the direction of why the change was made and that sort of thing, or maybe bring back the old search thing? Thanks. Edit: Wow... Hi, I just reverted changes made to Pro skins, and it now looks like the old 2.2 skin :huh: I'm using v2.3.1 (ID: 23004). Have I missed something ? How to get the pro skin back ? Thanks :)

I am interested in other members opinions on the advanced hosting package. Is $20 a month worth it? How reliable is the hosting in terms of the site uptime and speed? I would also like to know if it is possible to change the look of the board if I bought this package? I read something about not being able to make modifications and wonder if changing the look would fall under modification? Couple Requests for Adding Moderators to a Forum

Hey, all. Recently, but specifically today, I noticed a weakness in the system to add moderators. It's great for adding a single moderator/group to one or more forums, but is rather inefficient for adding multiple moderators/groups to one or more forums. I think it should be updated to allow an admin to add more than one person or group to however many forums they'd like (it'd be cool if you're also able to do both single people and groups at the same time). I don't think this would be too hard. A multiple selection box (whatever it's called) would do the trick. As for the multiple people, perhaps it could be comma delimited (unless you know of a better way)? Also,…

Feature Request: Multiple SQL user names

(cross posted here as requested in the response to my ticket) My current host imposes a max_query limitation of 50,000 queries, but allows for multiple SQL user accounts to be created and used. It would be nice if IP.Board supported the option of spreading queries among multiple SQL user names without the need for modifications. While, for a small board, 50,000 queries is enough for everyday usage, it's easy to hit that quota running maintenance tasks.

Within 2.2 and 2.3, if a member's display name is over a certain limit, it replaces the rest of the username with "..." within a topic post. Is there a way to disable this feature so that the whole member name shows up? Thanks.

Currently the feature to Merge member's concurrent posts does not apply to multi-moderation. We sometimes have cause to apply 2 or more concurrent multi-moderation posts to a thread. It would be good if these could be applued as a single reply rather than multiple replies. thx

For now, if I download big attachment from forum/blog/gallery and connection was proken, then I need to start all from scratch, even when use file downloaders. That's very inconvenient for large files and users with slow connections. I think, it worth to implement processing of range and partial content requests for attachments. That's not a big problem. Okay I have a question. I run http://www.got-heroes.com I also have the domain http://www.heroes-reviews.com that I just added as an alias to got-heroes.com. So in typing heroes-reviews, it goes to got-heroes.com, but with the heroes-reviews.com url. If you go to heroes-reviews.com and click on any of the banner links at the top, they'll have heroes-reviews.com urls, how would I also make it so when they click on the forum categories, it will do the same? I know in the config file you can change the url of the site, but how do I do it so when people go to got-heroes.com, those links stay got-heroes.com, then when they go to heroes-reviews.com, those links are hero…

Remove old Legacy features

I've noticed there are a couple of old legacy features left over that don't work. Like two settings for example in the Portal settings. One is "Display Search" on portal page as a prime example. How about removing these old legacy features in the next release to clean things up if there not going to be used, or at least activate them and make them an option that can be used in the next release. I have noticed these settings are there obsolete in much ealier versions also. So is it not about time they were cleaned up and removed.
