Super-Moderators - extra options in IPB3

One of the things that are missing from my point of understanding is super-moderator options! -Add moderators -Changing user name/display name (I have a lot of requests and they all pm to me >_< ) -Bad words -Ip ban I suggest to create another acp for super-moderators(smcp) where there will be only options they need. with option to turn this on/off in each super-moderator.

Will be possible with IP.Board 3.0 create/use a Discuss Bot? Discuss Bot allows you to integrate your Forum discussions with your content, so for example you can use a thread as commentary for articles (embedded below them). IMHO it's a very interesting way to use the board and it could open many scenarios... SQL backup feature

It would be good if there is a task that can automatically create backups of sql, maybe on the same server, in a desired directory in a zip format n with a password. Right now I can almost guess the sql backup file name, and if you keep trying you will succeed. If there is a password protected zip file, it makes it more safe. N may be task overwrites the old sqls if allowed.

Hi there We have recently tested out the board with a view to changing our current forum over, to include hosting. Last Friday I emailed sales and conversions, but have not had a reply. So I re sent the emails and also to accounts, but still no reply? I am in the UK, so the toll free number is not an option. I wonder if anyone can help me? We are really keen to transfer our forum and hosting but can't communicate with Invision?! Many thanks

I like to see ajax preview as you post... What I mean is Wordpress has this feature for comments that you can preview the comment as you are typing. Really cool feature to eliminate the need to go advanced just to see what a reply or comment is going to look like when you are in fast reply mode or posting mode. This would definately be awsome in post mode so I dont have to keep clicking preview with a page refresh everytime. You know... How the page locks up when someones server is hanging lol. Ideally this can be used globally for blogs and gallery too. ;)

Question for the developers here. I had a quick search but can't see if it's been addressed already. I know you are putting together a friendly URL system and possibly lifting some ideas from the website in my signature field... but something just occurred to me. Will you be including a sitemap generator in the new IPB? If so, it's crucial that it has seamless integration with the friendly URL system. Any comments?

3.0 Suggestion: unique keyword/description meta

Just thought I'd throw this out there. I know 3.0 is already bringing spider-friendly URLs to the table. But how about unique keyword and description meta tags for each forum and thread? It'd probably be easy to do, the hard part is just deciding what content to use for the keyword/description fields. If 3.0 DOES end up having tagging support, I suggest using the tags as the meta keywords. And the description can maybe be the first couple sentences of the first post. Thoughts?

Two Questions About IPB V3

Hello, I have a couple of quick questions regarding IPB V3. Firstly, with the introduction of the rel='nofollow' tag in the ACP, will it automatically add the tag to existing links or will we have run something to edit each link in the database? Also... Will we have to pay the $60 fee to have our MySQL database converted from IPB 2.3.6 to IPB 3? Thanks :)

Tasks in v3

Although we can 'cron' a task already what I would like to be able to do is have the choice of running all tasks from cron. So rather than a cron for each IP.B task I could setup a general cron job that fires up the task processor and it then runs the tasks. Why? Well I would prefer that my tasks be run by my system rather than depending on 'activity'. Thanks! Larry
