When I'm editing my skin templates, I like to use the full screen feature. But, I noticed that you have to close the full screen editor to be able to save it. Can we add a save button to the full screen editor?

My users have been complaining that since switching from Vbulletin, searching for specific threads has become much more difficult. I believe that the problem is that when I search for "chains" for example, rather than returning threads that contain chains, it instead returns posts that contain chains. So page one of the results might look like this: Thread 123 Thread 123 Thread 123 Thread 123 Thread 345 Thread 345 Thread 678 Thread 678 Thread 678 Thread 678 Where the first 4 results are 4 posts from the same thread. Signature limits are already available and can be set per user group. Im just not sure how effective it is once i get to testing it the hard way. Currently, avatar limits can be set globally. I'd like to see a new area in the Global tab when editing a user group dedicated for avatars. :D

I noticed that the times for the previous day and current day look different from each other when viewing profile. I thought maybe they should be consistent with each other. But, this might be something that is easily fixed in the System Settings.

I noticed that there isn't a mod_rewrite for the members page. Like how the calendar and index can be accessed by going to boardurl.com/calendar and boardurl.com/index, but you can't get to the members page by going to boardurl.com/members. Same thing with the portal, but then again some people might use that as a homepage. Was this intentional?

The report center is nice, but could be a lot better. Post what you would like to see added or changed. Active Reports and Under Review - In the admin bar I would like to see 1 Active Reports, 2 Under Review. When a reply is made to an active report I feel it should be then placed under review automatically. Maybe change the wording to New Reports and Active Reports. Reporting Posts or Users - I don't see many reports about users show up. I believe this is due to the "user report" being placed in user profile. As a primary user of vBulletin and IPB2, I was shocked to find that the messenger tab / dropdown was removed from the userCP, and the only place to reference to it is through the username dropdown (as far as I can tell). Personally, I think that everything that influences the user's experience on the forum should be present in the UserCP (IPB2 showed recent posts, attachments; then had a nice clean left side column that had all of the options). The issue is that given the new features of the messenger, I would imagine that the messenger would be difficult to fit within the "My Options" / "User CP" menu. So I would like to open this up to discussion. Any thoughts?

I'd like to be able to choose to attach to a new post an attachment I had made to a previous post (rather than having to re-upload the attachment). This would be useful if I wanted to attach a bunch of photos in a "gallery post" and then include one of the photos in a blog post just by using the attachment BBcode. I suggest you would have an "attach previously uploaded files" section in the post form that when clicked on pops up (or opens a hidden div) that shows a list of the previously uploaded attachments by the user ordered by most recent first and paginated with an "Add to Post" link next to each attachment in the list. I am the client of Russian department of IPB product, but the local support couldn't help me :( I had succesfully used Topics and Posts API in my 2.2.2, but there are some innovations in 2.3.6 API's: the API user occurrence... I am not sure if it was reported before but the forum has some post count bug. I see new members registering in forum and their post count already are up to 20. We did post recount a month or 2 ago but now it starts to repeat. I already see every Validating members having 1 post although they can't post.

Hi, Very frustrating when tickets are auto-closed not to be able to re-open it. Seems daft to have to start a new ticket, refer to the existing ticket and repeat oneself. it must also be annoying for the person at IPS to have to look up one or more previous tickets. Please consider allowing tickets to be re-opened.

I don`t know if this is happening only to me or not, but everytime i open a ticket i receive a response in not less than 48h. It is very frustrating when i have some little issue that can be fixed in 5 min and i have to wait 2 days for an answer. Usually i resolve it myself after some research. You definitely have to review your support service, isn`t this why i pay 25$ every 6 months?

Reputation needs some improvements. First: Members A can not gives more than X (X for example 3) plus or minus reputation points to the member B. For example: Member A likes Members B and gives him/her plus for EVERY post. Member C hates Members D and gives him/her minus for EVERY post. Solution: Members A can gives 3 points (for 3 different posts) to Members B but then he/she must gives points to X (X for example 2) other members. Second: Exclude or include categories where Reputation can be used. For example I need to exclude Test category. Every post which was send to this category should be reputated. It's silly. Well, I know phpBB 3.0.5 can do this, but I haven't found the feature in IPB 3.0.4 yet. Basically in phpBB, when you create a poll, you can set how many days it will stay open and after that time period, the poll will be closed, voting disabled, and just the results will be shown. I think this would be a great feature to have.

I previously had my board 100 percent valid code... but I just upgraded to 3.0.4 and I get hundreds of errors. Most of them seem to cascade from an unescaped ampersand in session ID... eg... …e&module=global&section=login&s=128379128371' Where can I fix this?

Sorry my english can do something like that, where, was the user can choose which section / forum it will be visible and which not? This is me on the fact that we have gaming portal, we have thousands of players and offer a number of games, applications, and thus we have several sections on the forum. The user, who plays CS example, it does not hold wow, l2, ... other sections. It is possible that you simply checking the settings in which section it should show? Members tend to post topics with the same questions over and over again, why not impliment a feature checking the topic title against existing titles using ajax and show the results underneath with a caption saying something like "Topic with a similar title". That would be awesome and may decrease the amount of repeated topics (w00t)

Now I understand that changes have to be made to the core codebase whenever a new version of IPB is written. But in the last couple of updates (3.0.3 and now 3.0.4) I have had skins that I have developed during the 3.0.1 era break completely on me, because of deprecated skin code and a complete disregard of the skin's CSS on browsers (possibly as a result of deprecated skin code). Now, as I have worked very hard on my unique themes and they are vastly different from the IPB default skin, simply implementing the Skin Differences published is easier said than done, nor should I expect to constantly update my skins in this manner.
