Thanks to Support for dealing with this issue. As a bit of a digital dunce I can’t help but wonder exactly what happened? Anyhow, everything seems to be back to normal on my Board. I’m sure the Support team understands Board owners/admins and moderators frustration when they go down. These Discussion Forums/Suites etc are very important to the owners and as much if not more so to the Members. Mine was launched in 2002. And I still have charter Members who have been active for 22 years. Many freak out when they can’t get on Board.

Not happy to see people are having Boards go down on Firefox now as well as Safari etc. I’m staying away from my MacBook laptop….my device access are dropping like flies…that laptop might be my last line of defense…😳

Same for me on mine, and I'm getting messages from site users to say the same. It's weird, I can access on my macbook via safari and chrome, but on my iphone it's not having it at all, the page stays blank. This is the case as of postiing this post.

We're working on an update to help combat this increased wave of spam.

If you have not already looked into it...  there is a 3rd party company called CleanTalk that has been a big help in reducing spam on my site as well.  
It's 12 bucks a year, and there are lots of ways of getting additional free time.  It's not perfect, but it catches a lot.  When combined with IPS anti-spam and hCaptcha, I only have 1-2 that get through a week with more than 400 attempts weekly.

The IP ban on the 'people' who are trying to spam is currently doing a good job. It's banned about 15 others since I posted. But I'll look at hCapta settings too

Have you increased the sensitivity in hCaptchas site itself? Also, do you have questions and answers in place? Unfortunately spam has indeed been somewhat of an issue lately

No worries Marc, just wanted to show it happening on our site to show it's still happening for reference.

We have no doubt its happening, however unfortunately its actually an issue on those phones, as mentioned above.

We dont actually have any control over what the browser itself enters into the editor unfortunately. Therefore if its entering extra space, there is only the browser that can resolve that.
 
I have tagged developers anyway to see if there are any further thoughts on this of course

All good with Chrome, it's definitely Samsung's browser causing the issue,

I've asked the question... I'll report back, but I suspect he's using Samsung's browser.
Yeah he's using Samsung's browser. I've asked him to try Chrome on his device...
