We're discussing it internally. It was an engineering decision, not a business decision but there is a discussion about it. -
For at least the past decade, there has been a recalibration in the need and purpose for forum communities. Social media is great for person to person contact and small groups, and forums are great for topic focused content, searchable knowledge bases and slightly more transactional conversations ("How do I?", "Can you recommend?") over what use to be more generic forums "Bob's Hangout!" Likewise, we know that the purpose of this forum is for feedback and support more than a place to hang out and chat. The Marketplace was removed a year ago and discussed in great detail at the time. Instead of being the sole arbiter for the modification community, there is now freedom to run independent marketplace focused communities. We have ensured that we are ahead of the trend and have worked on tools to professionalise forum communities. I understand the yearning for simpler times and simpler products but progress marches on and we either march with it or get left behind.

That's how it should continue to function, so we can look at that. But it should fix itself in a few minutes until we get a fix out. -

Next time you see an errant approval flag, leave it and see if it clears itself. We made a lot of changes to how counts and node last info is built to reduce MySQL load. To safeguard against any random issues, there is a task that runs every 5 minutes or so to tidy up any potential issues. We'll look into the core issue of course, but you may find it fixes itself in a few minutes. -

I don't see an oEmbed endpoint for Threads. They do have a way to copy embed HTML but no way to expand a link into a nice little Threads box.

Various ways to do it, this is possibly the easiest. You could even add custom CSS to float it and pin it to the bottom of the page. CleanShot 2024-08-14 at 14.26.19.mp4

Invision Community 5: Editor Permissions and Custom Embeds

I would consider setting up stock replies. These can be used for both Commerce and any area where there is an editor. -
I did send you an invite to the private developer's alpha which includes the download zip and the ability to have 1 to 1 discussions with our dev team on how best to implement modifications in v5, I can send it again if you didn't get it. You also have the opportunity to offer feedback on the new dev tools. We've already made some changes based on feedback so far. We have a small group in there and 99% of things possible in v4 are possible in v5. If it's not possible, come and speak to us and we'll consider the best approach.

It's not something we're considering. Our cloud platform is a mixture of many technologies and micro services from AWS and other service providers. They wouldn't really fit on a docker image. -
