  1. Incredible!! This is great, only problem is that I can see myself spending way too much time toying with the custom icon making features instead of getting some work done. 🤣 @Ehren I see a couple of .mov videos in your original post. These are automatically embedded in Safari, but not in Chrome. If you want them embedded in Chrome as well, you can just change the file extension from .mov to mp4 and ... voilà. 😃 For example your icon-creator.mov does not embed in Chrome, but this icon-creator.mp4 does: icon-creator.mp4
  2. Not sure what this is about? I have 7 pages of "spam-service" errors in my log:
  3. Ok so it appears as if things are back to normal. This incident lasted from 8:23 until 8:38 GMT. I had just sent an email to our mailing list and done social network promotion to direct people to a major announcement on our site, which was mostly down or unusable for 15mn. This is very, very frustrating.
  4. This is happening again right now. My site and this site are both super slow or completely down.
  5. In search console under "Discovery", Google lists only two referring pages for that URL: the topic that contains the embed, and the specific comment that contains the embed. So apparently, Google has found the internal link when scraping the topic, and indexed only the URL of the embed.
  6. That's an issue though: someone does a search on Google, they click a search result that has my site's URL and favicon, only it takes them to a blank page where the only thing displayed is a reddit link. I'm not sure how Google could have decided to index that, but couldn't that be prevented? Is this a common thing with embeds? Them showing up as search results? Here's what they see after clicking the link - an empty browser window with only the reddit embed:
  7. I see a link to an URL on our site as one of the results of a Google search, and when I click it all I get is a reddit embed. No suite wrapper. The URL in the Google SERP looks like this: https://www.my-site-name.com/index.php?app=core&module=system&controller=embed&url=https://www.reddit.com/r/name-of-the-reddit-thread
  8. Ok so I realize now that this layout is reproduced only for online events, but not for physical location events. 😞
  9. Found it. That's the view I was hoping to get, with the carousel at the top and the upcoming events before the calendar that's at the bottom. Is that a custom template or can I reproduce something like this?
  10. Ok that's too bad. I wish there was a way to either show those blocks in the "Upcoming Events" widget, or even better, an option to show all upcoming events as blocks-with-photo directly on the main Events page, rather than a calendar. I have a memory of upcoming events looking differently on the Events page here on Invisioncommunity.com - was it some custom template? I remember a larger picture for the next upcoming event, at the top of the page, before the calendar?
  11. Thank you @Nathan Explosion That gives me a text list of upcoming events, with no graphics. Instead, is there a way to display the event boxes with their photos, like this?
  12. My next event is in March 2024. I suppose that that means my event page shows "No events scheduled this month" and will continue showing that until March 1st, 2024. Is there a way to show something like "Next event March 17th.." instead?
  13. This looks like a great feature, I can't wait to have it live. 🙂 About that sentence in the email: Shouldn't it be .... Community experts are calculated based on many metrics including etc... ?
  14. I hear you. However, note that it's not my website, but the website of the developer who makes SuperGrid.
  15. Right now what I'm able to reproduce is: Open a page in a tab (tab #1), start typing an answer but don't submit. Open the same page in another tab (tab #2). In tab #1 submit the answer. In tab #2, click the reply box, you see the answer that was already submitted. Obviously that's an edge case that doesn't make much sense in day to day use, but I'm suspecting that this is the kind of thing that may happen when I have a tab where I've started to reply, then I get a notification, click the notification and that opens a new tab with that same page...
  16. I've been trying to do something similar. The Invision blog looks great, and I wish this template was available. In the meantime, I've started with SuperGrid from @opentype : https://www.opentype.space/superdocs/product-list/pages-templates/supergrid-r8/ I fine-tuned the CSS a bit to get closer to the look of the Invision blog. It got me 80% there. Also, @opentype is available should you need to have his template customized.
  17. This happened while no extensions where enabled in Chrome. It's definitely not a huge deal, more like a minor annoyance. I wonder if this could be related to having the same page opened in two different tabs. I'll try to avoid that and see if that minimizes the issue.
  18. Sometimes when I have submitted a reply to a topic, then come back to the same topic to enter another reply, the text editor shows me the text I've already submitted?
