    There were more issues this morning, where I could no longer log in to my site for several minutes. Now just now I had some slow response. Trying to submit an answer took over 15 seconds. I checked with downforeveryone and my site was down.

    In my experience, on our board, most spammers use custom link text. For example they'll write: Most legit members don't bother naming links. They most often post: Is there a way to automatically put posts with custom link text in an approval queue? Then perhaps I could have a group of known long time users that could skip that approval queue even when they use custom link text? This would help drastically reducing the amount of spam on our forum.

    I can't type anything in that box though. EDIT: Ok now it's working for some reason. Must have been a glitch in the browser or a bug between the chair and the keyboard. Thanks @Marc Stridgen.

    If I try to add a meta tag, the ACP page to add meta tags has its page address field stuck on profile/* and I cannot edit that field.

    Ok so the person said that they're not using an ad blocker, they're seeing all the ads, and they're even seeing the captcha when clicking "Contact Us" at the bottom of the forum, but not seeing the captcha in the sign up form.

    I want to share a "contact me" link in posts on our forum. For example on this forum, here's a link that opens a messenger page with myself as the recipient. https://www.invisioncommunity.com/messenger/compose/?to=610431 How do I instead make a link that pops-up a floating messenger pane, rather than opens a new page? The way the messenger opens when you hover an avatar and click the "Message" button?

    Incredible!! This is great, only problem is that I can see myself spending way too much time toying with the custom icon making features instead of getting some work done. 🤣 @Ehren I see a couple of .mov videos in your original post. These are automatically embedded in Safari, but not in Chrome. If you want them embedded in Chrome as well, you can just change the file extension from .mov to mp4 and ... voilà. 😃 For example your icon-creator.mov does not embed in Chrome, but this icon-creator.mp4 does: icon-creator.mp4

    Ok so it appears as if things are back to normal. This incident lasted from 8:23 until 8:38 GMT. I had just sent an email to our mailing list and done social network promotion to direct people to a major announcement on our site, which was mostly down or unusable for 15mn. This is very, very frustrating.

    In search console under "Discovery", Google lists only two referring pages for that URL: the topic that contains the embed, and the specific comment that contains the embed. So apparently, Google has found the internal link when scraping the topic, and indexed only the URL of the embed.
