  1. I think that that is an old link. You can access it here. https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/docs/development/plugins/
  2. That's the right location. Make sure to make a backup of the file first before you edit it though.
  3. Are there any messages logged in at the System Log page pertaining this?
  4. Also the chatbox app is mentioned in the error log.
  5. Can you check the System Logs and post here the latest messages logged in there? Also, what was the latest change done to the forum before this happening?
  6. You can find it at the Block Manager. That arrow on the forum that says: Manage Blocks when you hoover over it. That is an Ipb application. What license type do you have? If you switch to the new license from your Client Center, it will be included in the license and you can download and use it.
  7. What would the contents of this entrance page be? Do you mean like a stand alone separate homepage? If that is the case then that is not possible imo.
  8. You are seraching the themes area. The one you need is the Search templates area. You can find it when clicking the Edit Html and Css button for the theme that you are using as default.
  9. Have a look at this article on the MySql site about deadlocks. It will help you understand them. https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/innodb-deadlocks.html In InnoDB it is possible that any write transaction can cause a deadlock, even in perfectly normal situations. The larger a table is, the larger it writes, and long transaction blocks will often increase the chances of deadlocks occurring. Another reason for deadlock in a database table can be missing indexes.
  10. @NAX, were you able to convert your Smf forum to Invision?
  11. Are you on a shared plan or do you manage your own Vps/Dedicated box?
  12. It looks indeed amazing. @Ehren is truly an artist. Well done.
  13. If that script says that you are not running php 8, then you aren't. What panel did you check? Can you post a screenshot? Do you have cPanel? Did you try to upgrade your forum as mentioned above? I am asking because in your first post here you said: That is something that should have been mentioned if that was indeed the case imo.
  14. What do you mean by minimum criteria to get a star?
  15. Loading your forum I get a different error message: The page you requested does not exist. For your convenience, a search was performed using the query forum. Is the index.php present in the forum folder? Also this:
  16. This type of error is almost always server related. If no changes have been made, then the php compatibility issues should be ruled out, otherwise it would have thrown the error earlier. That is, if really no changes have been made such as installing a third party app, theme and/or other changes. What is your forum version and what php version are you on?
  17. As it happens I am very familiar with Smf. The best way to go about it imo is to install a smf forum at the same server of your Ipb forum. Make sure to install the same version of the Smf that you have running. You can use the same database as that of the Ipb forum. Or if you want to use another database, make sure to use the same database user of the Ipb forum for the smf forum 's database. Or if you create a new database user, make sure that both database users have full permissions/access to each other 's database. But it is best to install it at your Ipb forum 's database. Next step is to make a backup of your Smf forum 's database at the other host, and then restore it at the database of your Smf forum in the other host, where the Ipb forum is also installed at. After that download the repair_settings.php file from the Smf Tool''s section and run it to straighten out all paths and urls to point to the new location. Then you are ready to convert it to the Ipb. Hope it helps.
  18. Is the other forum hosted on the same host or a different one?
  19. Yes, there is. It will require a custom app.
  20. That is correct. If you have cPanel you can also upgrade it yourself by going to the Php Selection area.
  21. Do you remember who it was? You can find someone to help you with the upgrade at the Providers page. https://invisioncommunity.com/third-party/providers-directory/
  22. Have a look at my post at this other topic where another member had a similiar issue like you.
