I am a little bummed to see that the recurrence options for events haven't changed. There really should be an option to have an event happen, say, every 3rd Sunday of the month. Instead, we're stuck with August 14, September 14, October 14, etc.

Its only the first release of version 5. There will of course me many changes into the future. But with so many changes to the software, not everything will make the first release (as much as we would like it to)

Q: How much would it cost for me (if you provide this service) to have Invision upgrade my board?

We do not provide upgrade services on the self hosted platform unfortunately.

Alternatively if I do the upgrade myself what are the steps I have to follow?
Yes it is likely crazy-ridiculous for me to be asking this question when I haven't upgraded in a decade but better late than never.
I need to get my admincp fixed asap.

At this point, you would need to do the following

    1. Backup backup backup. Make sure you have both your files and database backed up fully
    2. Upload a fresh set of files from your client area (your site will be broken at this point)
    3. Upload the requirement checker from here -
    4. Upload the requirement checker to your server, and run this
    5. Address any items showing in the requirement checker
    6. Run the upgrader from /admin/upgrade

Just do a search using the sdvanced search...use whatever criteria you want. Click the 'spammers' link. Click the 'prune members found' link...

This would not delete the content. Only the members. Unless Im misunderstanding what you were doing there

Our boards have been overrun by Spammers. There's so much spam, I can't find all the users to flag them. How can I find the most recent registrations and flag them as spammers along with all their posts?

You would need to do the above using advanced search, however you then need to click through each to mark them as spammers. There is no other method of doing this unfortunately.

  4. Looking at this, it looks like the points themselves are resetting. We dont actually have anything at all in the software that reduces points. You cant even create something in the admin CP to reduce points. I would advise on disabling all 3rd party items for a while to see if its still happening there
