Im an idiot ... even though I double and triple checked the password. Some how I still had it wrong.

What are some common reasons for this error during install?

"access denied"

I checked that my credentials are correct. I also checked permissions.
Everything is correct. I have never had an issue like this before.

I am so confused. Ideas on what I can check next?

I am trying to get a very high profile client to start using IPB for a new service they are launching.

Currently they are using a private facebook group and I almost have them convinced to switch.

However, once a week the celebrity goes live on facebook.

They require this functionality and also like how the chatlog and video is saved in the community.

Is there some 3rd party plugin that you're aware of in the marketplace that can achieve this?

To be clear, when I pay individuals, this is how it looks in my account. You can see it always comes in pairs.

I was notified by PayPal that there are some changes coming effective March 11, 2021

I use the downloads app and pay my contributors exactly in the same way that IPS does here for the marketplace

it’s very convenient to pay contributors their commission using PayPal through the admin control panel

Is this no longer going to work after March 11? Really hoping someone can shed some light on this

I do pay individuals one at a time row by row and the API uses the PayPal mass pay out to pay an individual

Im glad. I am up at 4 AM because I just spent the last 8 hours trouble shooting my site.

Mysql was using all my cpu and causing server load so high that I was serving up 500 errors to all my visitors.

Turns out it was because I "disabled" this app. So my site doesn't like this app to be disabled anymore apparently. 🙂

My site started getting 500 server errors.

Checking on things I found VERY high server loads 40+

I tried to see what was driving it and it was mysql hogging up all of the CPU

I tried restarting mysql and the loads continued, I tried rebooting the ENTIRE server and the loads continued.

Finally I put the IPB website into maintenance mode and the loads dropped to 1

Any ideas on what is going on and how or how I can fix it?

At this point I don't really need the pagination because we can always edit the first post. I am so happy to have the errors corrected if that version could be uploaded.

Is there a way for customers to remove items from purchase history. For example if I buy a file from the marketplace and I don't want it anymore how can I get rid of it so I don't have to see it in my purchase history?

We use status updates a lot. A member has asked how they can pin a status update to the top of their profile so that when someone visits their profile the status is what is seen first.

Is this out of the box functionality? Is it possible?
