  1. SuperDocs is a styling for regular Pages databases. So you need a Pages database, add it to a page and add records. SuperDocs templates are then just assigned to it all and make it more beautiful. ? So, yes, please follow the IPS Guides for setting up Pages databases. If you go through their “Basic Tutorial: Building a recipe section” section, you learn everything you know.
  2. That refers to the plugin, but make sure to follow the update instructions in the PDF. You need to delete every SuperGrid template in the Pages template section, install the new template set and assign the new set from the Database settings. I thought I already did. In the settings for this field. It’s this button:
  3. You need to upgrade to the 4.3 version of SuperGrid. You need to turn off that field for the listing view in the settings for that field.
  4. The grid view requires equal heights. So that will always be forced. (A theoretic alternative is to contain the images in equal frames and leave empty space where necessary, but I won’t do that for stylistic reasons.) So the only alternative for you would be to go towards a more square-shaped aspect ratio, which reduces the effect of a large aspect ratio mismatch between image and frame. (I assume “squeezed” was just the wrong word and you probably meant cut off. Because nothing should be squeezed in any of my templates.)
  5. Well, SuperTopics is just a different styling of forum feeds. It shouldn’t influence block visibility in any way. To test this, just turn off the the SuperTopics template for the block you are already using. if the visibility problem persists, it’s not a SuperTopics problem and you need to open a support ticket with IPS or ask in the peer-to-peer forums here. if the problem goes away and it points to a SuperTopics problem, I probably need temporary admin access to find the source of the problem on your site.
  6. Can you post an URL where it happens?
  7. Absolutely! I predict April 9, which is when I actually released it. ? I highly recommend to follow each file you download from the Marketplace to get an email for every update.
  8. As mentioned in the first post I fixed it by uninstalling the app again after the initial failed installation. It always worked the second time around. So there is nothing for me to investigate anymore. I was just telling you in case you want to have a look at the problem and maybe avoid it for other customers.
  9. First installation of the app.
  10. I followed those instructions carefully:
  11. When I uninstall the plugin and install the app, I get this on all sites (4.2 and 4.3) I tried: The installation fails and the settings page breaks. Uninstalling the app and installing it again works though.
  12. If you are looking for help with the installation, please describe exactly at which point of the set up you have problems.
  13. There is nothing more. All the settings—and there are a lot—are changed from the plugins page in the ACP. Everything should be answered in the installation_instructions.pdf, included in the package.
  14. I plan to have it ready within the next 1 to 3 weeks.
  15. For a proper answer you would need to provide more information, e.g. what the current RSS feed looks like and what the requirements for those feeds are. While the IPS suite creates RSS feeds, it doesn’t create feeds specifically made for iTunes podcasts.
  16. See changelog before downloading. ? I went ahead and changed the download file name to make this more obvious.
  17. Yes, you can put it anywhere blocks can be put.
  18. Just to let you know. Not a complaint, not expecting a quick solution. ? The app creates errors on 4.3. ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function IPS\emailconfirmation\extensions\core\MemberSync\_emailConfirmation::onLogin(), 1 passed and exactly 2 expected (0)
  19. I added a new option to pick a staff member and then show their profile image in the button. Live demo: https://www.opentype.space
  20. It was explained already. A third-party app is used to block the profile pages, independent from the IPS core settings.
  21. @JohnCourt try: .SG_record_right_with_image { background-color: #FFF !important; }
  22. try this in custom.css .ipsWidget.ipsWidget_horizontal .ipsBox { background-color:#f7f7f7 !important; }
  23. It’s not a text color problem. The whole text block should have a background color. Your theme is probably preventing that. I would need a link to that page to check it out.
  24. So my setup is like this: Authors aren’t allowed to change the thumbnail. Yet, when they create the post, they are presented with this option: The result is that often people will manually upload an image here and then DON’T upload it to the post itself for everyone to see. So they talk about the image, but no one can see it. Is there a way to change it so “Auto get first image” will be used and the authors don’t get any options regarding that? I will have to deactivate the plugin for now because of that.
