  1. A TwitterCard is basic SEO? Come on! Now you just make stuff up.
  2. Nothing wrong with that per se. There are pros and cons for using an external service vs. your own store. For one of my sites, I recently started to offer both. You can become a yearly Patron on my site through Commerce or a monthly patron through Patreon. This plugin would allow me to link the two for more convenience on my and the user’s side.
  3. You don’t. Patreon doesn’t offer any functionality like that. So a plugin also cannot offer it. The point of a Patreon connection is to have the IPS Suite as advertising and fulfillment platform, e.g. where you push your active patrons into user groups so they can use that member group to download patron-only stuff, use patron-only forums, get ad-free use and so on.
  4. It doesn’t look like the topic you are testing has attachments. It has images, but not forum post attachments. From the product description:
  5. That might be your opinion, but as I already pointed out, it is not what Twitter says who controls this service.
  6. It’s meant to work on individual items. Twitter specifically disallows a general use. There is nothing to preview for a storefront for example – if anything, it should show the data for a specific product.
  7. I saw it and noted it as feedback. There is no need to bump it. It might come in a future release, but since updating Pages template sets is quite cumbersome for users at this point, I will certainly not push out a new release to 350 clients just to add a button. If the IPS Community Suite 4.4 requires changes to SuperGrid, which I expect, the next release will probably right after the 4.4 release.
  8. They can for example be deleted when they are not used anymore (e.g. as registered attachment) and your manual block call doesn’t count as “use”, since the system doesn’t know it. So again: Don’t use the direct file URL. Use a dynamic link to it.
  9. Well, the image doesn’t exist at that location or at least is not publicly accessible. So it fails. https://www.turfnet.com/uploads/monthly_2018_08/new_logo_300.png.3e8977aee383d6e3ba6f5e1a1e445fbe.png In general: do not directly link uploads from your uploads folder. You might rather upload it to the theme and then use the theme tag for that image in your source code.
  10. No. The rating values are shown as summary and for the reviews shown with text there are two settings: Number to Show and ordering as Latest Reviews or Random Reviews.
  11. I would need access to your ACP to see what you might be doing wrong or where other problems are. I am not sure what your first screenshot even shows. Card title, card caption …? What is that? That has nothing to do with SuperBlocks nor does it seems to be text from the image feed entries shown in your other screenshot. Are you sure you actually placed the block with the SuperBlocks image feed on a page somewhere?
  12. That doesn’t mean much. It’s not a very reliable function in Pages. Make sure you have the SuperBlocks plugin installed too. That’s where the CSS styling is saved.
  13. The templates are not installed in the plugin section, but in the Pages template section. Make sure to follow the PDF instruction exactly.
  14. The plugin is working and the image URL is correctly added to the page. But your server blocks the direct access of the image (Status: 403), so the social media service cannot use the images.
  15. Please provide a test URL.
  16. Those products work independently of each other.
  17. “Difficult” is subjective and hard to define, but there are no plan to add this to this specific plugin, if that answers your question. It’s simply by design. (and therefore affordable)
  18. Yes, and that can be hidden with print-specific CSS declarations (e.g. display:none), which are applied while printing. No point in 2018 to duplicate every regular template of the entire suite to create a simplified, printable copy. Because of course people might not only want to print topics. It’s much easier to solve this globally with CSS today.
  19. Everything is “print via browser”. In the past a simplified page output was used, which was then printed “via browser”. Today this isn’t necessary anymore, since you can include print CSS in the regular CSS and most responsive pages even print fine without it, since they adapt to the page size just as they adapt to the browser window. So printing from a stock IPS page isn’t all that bad. It might be bit wasteful, which can be tweaked with a couple of CSS declarations. I think Rikki even posted an example in the past and I modified client pages this way myself.
  20. Ctrl + P or ⌘ + P 😉
  21. Nope. Or I would have done that already. 😉 The reviews in this mode link in to the item being reviewed. As long as there is nothing linking in, the item template doesn’t know the external database. But you know, so you can easily put an “add review” link in the secondary navigation bar for example.
  22. Your templates are out of date. You need to use the latest release of SuperGrid.
  23. And I asked you about the results, since I cannot see them myself since you don’t provide a test URL. You need to help me help you. Or we are stuck at “it doesn’t work”. I am unable to narrow down a potential cause this way. It works for everyone else except you. So something must be specific to your installation or the way you are doing this.
  24. It has nothing to do with the content of the post. It looks at attachments only. What did the Facebook debugger show? What is the URL you tested?
  25. I use whatever IPS makes accessible through templates. If IPS doesn’t store thumbnails or doesn’t make them directly accessible in a template, I can’t offer that.
