No two sites are the same, which is why we've made it very simple to switch between layout types. More on that very soon.

Ehren is a superstar, he's barely scratched the surface on what he's been working on for the past six months. I'm really excited by these new views and the sidebar mode gives a very desktop app like experience, whereas the new mobile view is truly fit for purpose and not just a squished desktop view.

You activate Community Hive in your Invision Community AdminCP. Once you do, you can then go to Community Hive to set your categories and indicate what age-group your community is targeted for. You can also control what types of content is shown on Community Hive.
Community Hive is designed to send traffic to your community. It does this in a few ways:
Content is only shown as a snippet so visitors must go to your community to read the full content. There are algorithms in place to learn what is popular and move it up your feed. Following your community on Community Hive does this via sending a visitor to your community first. This allows you the opportunity to capture the visitor to become a member on your community. If they are not ready to join, they can also follow anonymously. If they join later, they can link up their existing Community Hive account. Visitors cannot interact with your content on Community Hive. They have to go to your site. Happy to talk about Community Hive's integration with Invision Community here. I'm thrilled to announce that I have secured an opportunity to interview none other than Charles from Invision Community. This is a rare and exciting occasion, and I believe that involving you as our community members can make this experience even more enriching! In recent happenings, I can imagine some of you might have some questions you'd like to see included in this interview.
As I always say, a community is the backbone of any platform. So, I thought: Why not let YOU have a say in the interview? I'm offering all of you a chance to send in your questions, and I'll do our best to include as many as I can in our conversation with Charles.
 
How to Submit Your Questions:
Reply to this topic with your question for Charles. You may PM me your question if you wish to send it anonymously.  Please keep your questions respectful, relevant, and constructive. If you see a question from another member that resonates with you, give it a "like". This will help us gauge the most popular and sought-after questions. You can submit multiple questions, but please post each question separately to make it easier to tally and sort.
Deadline:
The last date for submitting your questions is September 1st. I'll compile them shortly afterward and then proceed with our interview.
A Few Guidelines:
Avoid asking questions that have been answered multiple times in previous communications or on the official FAQ. While I appreciate all the input, I may not be able to include every question in the interview due to time constraints. This is a golden chance to get insights, clarifications, or just to know more about the visions and aspirations of Invision Community from one of its key figures. So, let your curiosity run wild and be a part of this unique opportunity! I understand that the shutdown of the Marketplace is a huge shock to everyone, thinking it's the end of the world when it's honestly not. 
 
3rd party developers will still be able to offer their applications, and with the help of @Joel R building a directory, that is bound to be good. Have a little trust everyone.
 
Also worth noting: Other forum software developers don't maintain an official marketplace and don't review codes or anything that is being released. It's entirely on the BUYER's responsibility to check for recommendations, reviews, sales, and reputation of the 3rd party developer. As always, think and do research before you buy and if it's too good to be true then it most likely is.

This means no more sexy lonely women using the Contact Us form, lol

I definitely look forward to seeing how it performs. I was planning on just giving one of the paid services a try recently, but if you're able to provide this as part of your included spam defense systems that is a great value for license holders.
