Ideally we want to have a forum width of 1200-1300 but it's effecting the text on the profile pages as per image

Is there a workaround to stop the text being displayed out of line like this?

If I want to sell points for use in the betting shop where do I set this up in the shop?

Do I have to create it as a custom item?

Plus it would be good not to have to specify a venue when creating a bet BTW as I don't always know the venues

Quick question.

In order not to fall foul of the UK regulations I think that the points gambled and won have to have no monetry value either as in money or moneys worth.

So if people can buy points to buy a membership upgrade or buy points for other shop items, then this could cause a problem?

Because if someone gambled and won points, these points would be classed as moneys worth because they could be used to purchase something in the shop which other members have paid for by buying points to make the purchase of that shop item.

I think you would need to hide the shop and any items of value

From what those PDF's say it is ok to purchase points if the only winnings is more points that have no £££ value and are used to regamble

It would be good if the betting app was standalone or the shop was not accessible

But if this is the case how could someone purchase points in order to gamble?

In the log it says

Please repair this problem. Shutting the chat on/off multiple times a day (I think this was recommended as a workaround anywhere) is not a suited alternative. The online list must always properly check the current chatters (and beyond that imho, the anonymous chatters, too, but we already discussed about it as an option request).

I get constant complaints about this as well.

I think it is probably the main reason chat usage has dropped off over the last few months this has been happening

One more question which might be more of a feature request

I see people can get points for joining a club

The problem we have is when someone sets up a club they don't really bother to invite their team players to it (on our walking football site)

It would be great if there was an incentive where club owners could earn points for each member that joined their club.

Might make them more pro-active to invite their fellow players.

If someone upgraded to a premium account say using ipcommerce direct can that new membership level automatically get X points added to their account?

Or does your shop have this facility?

Thinking of ways to use this to give the member points so they can use them in the betting shop without having to post / contribute or buy betting specific points

ok so there is no problem members buying points with cash through IPcommerce to play if they want to do it that way?

And if they do it that way, paypal are fine with it?
