Hi @CodingJungle I've bought and installed the Duplicate Member Logger.
One question, how do I exclude individual members, is that still possible?
One comment, in the Mod CP logs, I deleted one entry for a member and it deleted all of them (luckily I have it set up to send PMs, so these served as a backup).
And one suggestion about the PM it sends. As it is now the message does not allow the user to reply. I think it would be good if they could, as often you want info from them to clarify why they have more than one account. Cheers.

@CodingJungle is the Duplicate Account Logger still compatible with 4.3? Or is it now only compatible with 4.4?

Hi DawPi, just a suggestion for future updates.
Profile privacy options:
- profile is open for all
- profile is open for registered users only
- profile is open for (approved) followers only
- profile closed for all (Except for Admin/Mods)
At present it really is "closed for all", so I often find that I have to login as that member when I need to access their profile for whatever reason. Cheers.

Is it possible to leave some groups out? As an admin, it sucks to be restricted from my own board. lol

Me too. In fact it's the only thing stopping me from buying and installing this.

Is it possible to select the Latest Events block to show in a Forum sidebar? It's not on the list of blocks I can choose from.

Let me explain what the plugin and that setting does.....
The plugin, in general, will hide the content from a group. If you have hidden the content to Guests, then they will see what a guest sees. Nice and simple.....there is no 'error' message other than what you have chosen to display within the plugin's settings. Why? Because the page itself is still viewable.....it's some of the content within it that is hidden from view. If you have turned off Guest access in general in IPS, then they will see whatever page it is that IPS has chosen to display to those viewing it (probably a 403 forbidden)
Now, the setting "Allow search engines to view hidden content", when enabled, overrides that and will SHOW the content to search engines....which is considered cloaking, as you are showing Guests a different result to what the search engine has indexed.
Disabling "Allow search engines to view hidden content" has zero effect.
Thanks; I thought that was the case, and it suits me fine that it works like that. Cheers Nathan.

Just a question. Assuming you don't enable search engines to see the post's content in the plugin's settings. But they can see the forum and they can open the topic (only to find the custom message saying you can't see this topic or anything else one writes there).
Do they get a 403 type error message or any other error message? or as far as they are concerned that's just a thread where the content happens to be whatever you use as a custom message?
I'm just trying to see how would this affect Google's indexing. Basically, I'd like to hide the post's content from them, but let them see the topic title and custom message.

Hello,
Have you enable Designer's mode? I can look into that if you give me credentials
No, no designer mode. PM sent.
Cheers!

@newbie LAC For some reason the descriptions have disappeared from mine. However, they are still in the database.
I upgraded from 4.2.8 to 4.3.3
I'm 99% certain they were still there after the upgrade. However, I also updated the plugin to the latest version I found in the marketplace and I'm not sure I checked after doing that.
Any ideas as to what I can do? Can I try installing a previous version over the latest I have? (I've still got a copy of the previous one)

No, it doesn't work because that defaults to a "No Restriction" tick automatically. In any case what I did was deleting all non used methods from Commerce, as I realised you can create them again if needed. So, sorted that way. Cheers.

Thanks Adriano; all good now.

That would be great if you could. Cheers.

Okay, thanks. I hope it will be still compatible with 4.2 because not everyone is keen to jump straight into the brand new big releases, not at least until they are massively tested, etc. So, a fair bit of time can pass all considered.

Received, tks. I’ll take a look during the weekend. It’s weird because no change was made in email/notification.
Hi Adriano; have you had a chance to look at this?

Are guests able to see the profiles?
No, they are not. Cheers.

Oh okay, and where is that?
Found it Thanks!

I have a doubt regarding the sitemap and members profiles. I have blocked search engines from accessing members profiles.
Google sees this as an HTTP Error: 403 and keeps warning me about it.
In a way it makes sense, but I suppose that Google warns me because it sees them in the sitemap yet can't access them.
Now what it's blocking Google to access profiles is a third party app. It's not blocked under System > Profiles
I wonder if I deselect permission there if they'll stop trying to access and therefore they stop warning me too.

Thanks!
PS, just a suggestion; not sure if possible at all, and if it is, maybe it'd warrant a separate plugin, but it would be great if it we were able to prevent registrations per user's devices.
