Maybe I should add this to the Suggestions Thread, but it would be good if it did for a matter of internal logic, as content count does matter for group promotion (in my case it's the only element that matters for group promotion). Just imagine a new setting in the Achievements Settings that you could toggle to make these posts not count. The way it is now is rather messy and more than one user has asked me about the discrepancy between post count and points (they cannot get their heads around what points are many times).

Just a question, in Newbie's plugin I used, it was possible to adjust the style a bit in my custom.css. For example: /** * Font size for topic description */ .nbTopicDescription { font-size: 14px; color: #000000 } #nbTopicDescription { color: #000000 } Is it possible to do the same with yours by any chance?

Hi, I have a renewal pending for two third party apps in one invoice, and I cannot find the way of just renewing one of them. They are Links Directory and Classifieds System. Given the latter seems like it has been abandoned, I don't think paying for a renewal will bring any benefits. Could you please disassociate these two orders? Is there a third party plugin to change the author of a Pages record? I think I've seen one for changing the date but I don't seem to find one for changing the author. (Of course there's one or more for changing forum posts authors though). In the absence of one, is there a safe way of doing it?

I've seen there are some discussions regarding blank space, but I think the existing ones refer to something else (otherwise, please feel free to merge this one into an existing topic). I've seen that some specific members generate a lot of unnecessary space after their text generally. For example, I've just got this from one of my members: And the source it's like this: Is it just my forum or have others seen the same? I'm on 4.7.6 by the way.

Okay, maybe my envisaged plan with the photos overlooked some important detail here. I think this is just the way the template is, but worth asking in case some edit could make it work. Basically "above the item" we have two columns, being the left one the wider one for most of the narrative information. It would be great if there was a way at least in that column to push what's placed "below the item" upwards. Otherwise this is the reality with very short blurbs of text. I know that the user could manually achieve something similar by uploading a photo via the text editor (which is what I had done before), but it's not ideal. Is there any other way around it?

Hi @opentype. Thanks for this template. I think I finally found a reason to use it and I'm playing around with it. The problem is my little knowledge of Pages, but as for the template itself, pretty easy to use and understand. So, the following question, I understand that it may relate to Pages and not to SuperDirectory as such. However, as you already provide a Photo Gallery in your template, my question is about something similar. Is there's any way to display a single photo in either the listing or the display templates? When I try to configure an upload field I've created, the only options of displaying it are the usual colour badges, that display the image as a tiny thumbnail inside a badge, so far from ideal. So, I'm sure that I need to use the custom option, but I have no idea what code to include in there to parse and display an image uploaded by users. I'll appreciate if you could give an example of such a code please, assuming I'm correct in thinking that's the solution. I'm aiming to make a very visually-oriented directory, and having the flexibility to split the text and information with single photos would be great. I could do it with several Gallery fields of course, but a single photo here and there would work better for what I want to achieve. Cheers.

Hello, is there something I'm missing to make this block work? I created a couple of fields and allowed to be filtered. Then when I go to configure the block or widget, I'm expected to see some database selection at least, but it only shows this: I save and the block disappears from visibility. In other words, it doesn't seem to work. Is it meant to work with any type of field? Am I missing some step in between? Any help will be much appreciated.

@OptimusBain normally that's under Members > Members Settings > Reputation & Reactions > Reputation Tab Please note that whichever group you select there, you are excluding them from the reactions system. Now, it's odd if that happened overnight or with some upgrade, as those settings shouldn't change. So, not sure if that's the problem.

Well, not necessarily if you are willing to use a third party plugin: Basically, if your max ranks corresponds with a particular user-group. You can set the "Member Title" field to be edited only by people in that particular group which is what I do on my site. You'll need to follow the guide on how to restore members titles posted a few posts above first. And then implement this plugin I link here.

He couldn't reply to topics. The reply window wouldn't expand for him to type. According to him this happened only in topics he had started, but I'm not so sure. I guess that was basically it. I logged in as him to see what he meant and I think that's was what he was referring by lots of problems (basically just the one in more than one thread). As, I said I reverted his account to truncated quotes, and that problem disappeared. Cheers.

Hi @Nathan Explosion. I hope you're well. On my site there's something a bit odd with this plugin. It will honour the "Hide ignored quotes" selection, only if you use fully expanded quotes. However, it doesn't seem to work with the default "Truncated quotes" (it doesn't hide them completely but gives you the option to see the content instead). Also, I told my users to do that (use fully expanded quotes) as a workaround, but someone who is ignoring 18 people (yes, I know, pretty low tolerance level 😉) came forward and said his account was experiencing all sort of problems. And yes, from what I saw they look like Ajax problems, that I assume it's due to the number of users he's ignoring. This happens to him if he selects fully expanded quotes. It's fine with the default truncated quotes, but then again he can't use my proposed workaround to the first problem. I wonder if you could replicate some of these problems or if it's just on my site that it's doing it.
