I agree most of the blogs are fed in by RSS feeds so there is no way to feature an image..

I am curious what is the optimal way to setup Storage Settings? How many different configurations is necessary? By default everything just goes in to uploads I do not believe that the system creates a Folder for every specific area.. Is it better to manage configurations by "app" or just have it based what it is like site related content or user related content? I currently have: resources, store, emoticons, blog, pages, attachments, assets, clubs, downloads (files, fields, screenshots), calendar, social, gallery, cache, fields, profile. and when something new comes along it ends at the root of uploads...

seems all products and subscriptions can select which payment gateways are accepted for purchase. However Gift Cards and Donations do not have this restriction; and all payment methods are presented as a payment option. I think this should be corrected and consistent with products and subscriptions

agreed it's not a single thing here its multiple things The Flag As Spam feature needs restrictions to eliminate the need for: storing of what was hidden/deleted and where - should a restore be needed. a rolling deletion if not restored after a threshold has passed.

knock on wood but the future is only open to my moderators - if by chance one when off the rails and willy nilly flagged legacy members as spammers - that would swiss cheese the site. Moderators who have as spam option should be restricted to which groups this feature works on - perhaps then i could use the "DELETE" option and not see pink post. right now i have it so that if two or more users report post as spam then it flags as spam and hides stuff that is restricted only to the newbie group - the hiding part is where it's tricky 99% of the time it is real crap but i still see it some times. When is see all them pink hidden posts i loose enjoyment of actually participating in my own site having to put on my admin hat. And yet that leaves users profile stuff visible (profile picts etc) I thought of turning all that stuff off until they get to be a member but i found that leaving it on i can use bad word filters to look for Dheli models or Escorts as terms and hide the post as this stuff gets dumped in the spammers profile. couldn't a json object/array (of ID's) be stored of all content that has been hidden for a spammer so that in case an un-flag and restore option is performed a list is presented and admin can in bulk or individually restore content?

This feature really needs a limit as to what groups can and cannot be flagged as spammer. Usually anyone with more the 10 posts are not spammers. I use promotion feature. Curious - 0 posts Newbie - 1 - 5 Posts ( first one must be approved ) can only make so many posts in a day (flood control) Member - 6+ posts There is no way that any one who is a member with thousands of posts is a spammer, therefore this feature should have an exclusion list of groups. Also flag as spammer while using the HIDE option does not remove the naked pictures they may post in their profile. If a person is BANNED as legitimate spammer then this:

i was able to restrict the button to not show to guests however just knowing store/gift-cards/ will allow them access.

just had a guest attempt to purchase gift cards fraudulently and Stripe blocked it - I banned the guest IP that was used, but can't find any setting to disable guest purchases?

I do not believe this is a typical white label app which can be branded. In as much you won't find your app and logo in the app store. Instead you will find a generic IPS App that has a directory of all IPS sites where users would still have to search to find and add your site.

Actually it was a different product; but yes i do see that now thank you. However nobody reads instructions LOL (self included) I'd love to see a tiny flag 🆕 or some label in the ACP that indicates new settings, and something hasn't been configured yet. Or even clickable links that resolve to that direct page in my ACP Perhaps as part of IPS developer program download package it should include ACP payload of keywords so that users can search the ACP for specific app settings. As this area of IPS is very new of great interest everyone I am hoping while code is still fresh and and malleable we can see some great innovations 😄

To make the user experience after purchase and installation of a marketplace offering via the ACP. The user should be directed to a page providing GPS directions to configure said purchase. There are so many destinations where one would find the newly installed product's configuration settings. Directly in the sidebar In the Applications In the Plugins A new category section in the suite Themes Languages Additional settings to the core or app's config page. I spent 5 minutes trying to find where to configure something i just installed.

It would be helpful to have a link or a third tab that will provide an ABOUT Author with a listing of their other offerings from with in the ACP.

How do i go about making a template with columns that looks more like the bug tracker listing than the default listing?

There was another method i looked at one time that you could do it with the CKEditor and it would look your acronym and translate it on the fly to the person typing. I would like to be able from the ACP to run a script for all current BANNED SPAMMERS to purge ALL CONTENT. (including bio, profile picts and any content posted.)

Can this feature be put on the whiteboard to be included in the ACP? I can't edit this on the front of site if the blog is managed by a group. not without going to the ACP and logging in as a user.
