Search/Parse Blocks Inside Post Content
That way, we could include polls in our articles, for example.

Invision Community 5.0.0 Released
Perhaps it would be a good idea to write a blog article about how users with plugins, apps and theme customizations can best proceed before upgrading. Something like “Reset all Pages databases to default templates”, “Delete old themes” (or not), “Delete plugins you are sure you don't need anymore”... So that at the end we have the cleanest possible IPS5 when we upgrade.

TipTop Editor Table of Contents extension. Can we have?
You can have TOC now. You have to drag the widget "Table of Content" to sidebar (in Page Editor to find under "System"). I tried not in forums but in Pages it works.

Merge Tags
I feel you. With the plugin above you can put all threads with the wrong tag easy to your best tag. In your example you can type "arsenal" in plugin site in ACP and you see all other tags, "arsenal fc", "fc arsenal" and so on. One click, one typing of "arsenal" and all threads with "fc arsenal" are not more tagged with "fc arsenal" but with "arsenal".

Merge Tags
I'm currently managing our tags with this: https://www.ic-essentials.com/files/file/7-tags-manager/ I hope to be done with that before I upgrade to IC5. It's a lot. But it makes sense.

Invision Community 5: Tagging Reinvented
Do you plan a page for overview of all tags? I don’t want to have 25 tag pages (for example) in navigation, but one page with a list of all tags would be good.

Invision Community 5: Tagging Reinvented
It would be nice if tag pages could be indexable for Google and Co. Or if we had the option to choose whether they are indexable or not.

- Invision Community 5: The all-new editor
Does that mean that still not all oEmbed site embeds work (as in v4)? (For example: Embeds from Datawrapper will still not work?)- Invision Community 5: The all-new editor
If I‘m playing with Demo on https://tiptap.dev/ - there are tables (without Markdown) and Table of Content available. Will these functions also be available in the new IC5 editor?- Invision Community 4: Pages databases in Clubs
I was delighted when I read the announcement of the new function. When I tried it out on the test board, I realized that I had obviously misunderstood the feature. My use case: I have clubs mainly for people from one region. I thought I could now define a category in my Pages database (for example: Regional News) that can be used in the clubs - this one category. My hope was that all articles from the clubs would be visible in this category in my Pages database. And in the clubs, all articles written in the respective club would be visible. Or have I not found a setting that would do exactly that?- Invision Community 5: The story so far...

Now I'm so excited to see what Pages looks like.- opentype
opentype has programmed and customized Pages templates for us. Everything from the order to the delivery was very professional and in the agreed time. We can absolutely recommend him.- March Release Chat
A very small thing: Could the links ("Jump to the answer in the video") please open a new page?- October 2022 Release Chat (Video)
Therefore my feature suggestion 😉- October 2022 Release Chat
- Hump Day: how do you onboard members into your community?
We have two newsletters - a big one and an automated newsletter made with „Newsletters“. For the big one, users have to sign up separately with a third-party service. Many people would never sign up for our community because they want to see what we do or what we write, for example, out of professional interest. Some sections of the newsletter can only be read by supporters, everyone else gets to read "If you want to read more, support us" at that point. This newsletter is sent the day before the video call and is therefore also a reminder. The automated newsletter contains "What you missed in the last 14 days".- Hump Day: how do you onboard members into your community?
I'm using New Member Followup. On day 1 new users receive a large message with a warm welcome, an explanation, why I founded the community, the hint where they can introduce themselves and with instructions where they can try out the handling of the forum (a test board) and where they can find their profile. On day 7 they receive a hint to the clubs, on day 15 to our newsletter, on day 23 to member map and their benefit, and on day 31 to our weekly chat and monthly video call.- Hump Day: What was your favorite feature added in 2021?
My favourite features were stock replies and SEO crawl efficacy. I'd like to see more love and stuff in Pages. SEO titles for every article/entry on the fly for example. And Schema.org markers as FAQ or How-to. Anyway, just everything I had written here before. 😉- Hump Day: do you use the poll feature?
You shouldn‘t think about polls only in threads. We need polls in Pages, in articles, too.- Hump Day: check Invision Community's uptime 24/7
I'm missing the possibility to answer directly in the overview. I know, it's only a stream, but it feels like a place for short conversations. In my community users have the same irritation. They're looking for a textfield or an "answer"-button and they must consider that they first have to go to club forum.- Hump Day: pages, pages, pages
Hi @Jordan Invision we use Pages a lot I think. On my wishlist are still more possibilities for interaction with our community in articles - polls, surveys, forms etc. Schema.org markers as FAQ or How-to SEO features – more than meta keywords and meta description as now, but also SEO title, settings for no-follow etc. per article or Pages database entry a "Table of content" by default, which can be switched off per article additional fields for images (alt text, title, caption, credit, license, image source as URL and so on) better management and SEO options for images background images for categories as for forums grid viewtext area for category descriptions (and not only one text field) an option to show category descriptions only on category sites and not in categories overview. widgets per category and not for all categories together (yes, there's an app for that) the option to set multiple authors for one article snippet preview at least in ACP better options in menu manager to include a single entry from a Pages database (an article for example). So many menu entries are "external links" but actually "things" in Pages. Before we switched from WordPress to Pages, our pain point was for a long time the ugly standard template. I think you give away a lot of potential with the developer driven, more technocratic template. If you want to convince people about Pages, you need a nice article template out of the box. (You should hire @opentype completely 🙂) Once Pages is understood, the many possibilities become more accessible. - Invision Community 5: The all-new editor
