@Police Community we are looking into it.

New version has released that patches the save settings bug and also fixes the duplicate alerts being sent out.
I've overhauled how I send out the alerts, so looking for feedback on how it's working with the various validation settings. Additional support for Facebook/Twitter accounts should now be possible and will be added after I confirm the new code works good.

One way I can think of would be to create a custom data field for your members in rules, and set it up as a select list with all the different 2-class combinations as options. Set it as public access so that each member can edit their own selection from their profile.
Then create rules for when the data field is updated which add the two awards from the selected option and (*removes all other class awards).
* Removing awards is not an iAwards rules action as of yet unfortunately.

At this time there isn't a way to limit how many awards that someone can give. They would have to only have access to those awards, although if you have Rules then you may be able to limit it from specific categories? You'd have to verify with @Kevin Carwile about that though.
You can, however, limit the member to only being able to have 1 award per award or if they can get it multiple times.

iAwards --> Settings --> Display
Scroll down to the part that says "Posts Display Settings" and unclick the enable button

Can someone confirm @Morrigan @-RAW-or anyone at all, if the "User has already been awarded" is fixed. 

Yes, we posted a quick fix at invisionizer on the iAwards area.

@Square Wheels They must poke you back or you must reset the pokes.

That was more of a bug than a feature in IPS 3 and @Tripp_UK posted the reason why on the first page on this topic.

Are from HQ Awards previously. The app has retained them just fine. It does take a bit of time to get permissions setup but it's well worth it. I'm still working on updating my images to be HD! SO EXCITE!

Hi, no you won't, their is a tool that will convert hq awards data to iawards.

Yep working on this, new version expected in the next several days.
That should already be the case but some changes in 4.1.7 may have changed this. The new version will correct this so that the welcome email is sent only on validation.

@jimmy It's a custom built theme which I built specifically for our site. I haven't encountered that error yet.
