  1. I'd like to disable the Recent Profile Visitors block across my whole forum. Is there a way to do this now? All threads discussing this are for 4.4 and suggest a plug-in that is no longer visible. I would really like this off. Thanks.

  3. I have done that, and they are all fine. I've used an account set for every group, as well as checking permissions on each forum, as well as in the group. All are set to show. It almost seems like it has to be a search engine issue/setting.
  4. Have spent hours working on this and no results so far. If anyone has some suggestions, thank you so much!
  5. My main member group functions perfectly. When a search query is typed into the search bar, all results are showing. That member group was copied to form the base for another member group that only has a different title and a group icon. No other changes were made to the copied group. But when you are a member of that group and search for the same query, only a couple of results are showing. I'm attaching screen shots of search results for the same words in three different groups. The original fully-functioning group shows 41 results on two pages. The problem group shows a total of six results. As a third test, I just copied the original group again and only changed the name. That group brings up no results (third picture). I've checked permissions and basic group settings, but nothing is different. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks in advance!
  6. I've got some particular boards for short-term timely posts. Criteria would be simple -- if the thread has not been posted in for a certain period (30 or 90 days), then it needs to be deleted. Plain and simple. Complicated boards are moderated to take care of the big problems, but it would be nice if a simple timed delete option was added in the future.
  7. Thanks. I'm personally on several forums that have the option. This seems crazy. I will see about assigning a moderator to certain boards to delete content that's old, but that certainly seems like something the program should be capable of doing on its own. And I don't want to archive, I want to delete. Increasing DB size is not the issue. I don't want my server clogged up with old data.
  8. So there is no way to set a board to delete posts that have been inactive for a specified number of days? Doesn't this seem like a basic function?
  9. I'm pretty sure that I'm missing something, but so far I've not found a way to do this or come up with an answer in the Help Guides. Is there a way to set an individual board to delete topics that have not been posted in after a certain amount of days? I'd like to be able to set some to delete after 30 days and some to delete after 90 days. Thanks in advance for any help!
  10. So far, the only threads I can find about this are old and weren't answered, so I'm hoping this is an option available now. Is there a way to delete PMs from member accounts through the ACP? We have a certain amount of banned members and don't want to store the files for all their old PMs.

Is there a code that I can add in Custom CSS to put a light-area background color behind text that is added to a Page from Pages App using the WYSIWYG Editor Block? Attached is a photo of the way it looks now, but I'd like a light-colored background to show up behind the text. Thanks.
  16. Never mind. I just found that the data has been imported to the little Support pop-up in bottom right corner of Client Area. Of course, it did not keep the whole reply that I had typed in this morning . . .

  18. I've been working with a Support Ticket for over a week on an issue. Actually typed into it this morning. Just went to check, and this is what's showing. What happened?
  19. Thanks to suggestions from a couple people here, I have started over with a new default theme and am coloring it myself. Two questions . . . First: Is there a code that I can add to custom CSS to create a light background bar for all items in the Activity Feed? Attached is a picture showing the current look. Any new posts already have the background light color. I'd like that to appear behind the updates of updated profile pics and the like. Second: Some of the plain text links are still showing up in a light grey color. I have changed the codes in the Themes/Text editing area for links and link hover to #000000 -- but the links shown in the second attachment here are not showing as true black until you hover. Then, they work. How can I fix that? Thanks in advance for any help.

  22. It has always been 30 days. I tried changing it to fewer days. I'll see about submitting a ticket.
  23. In the AdminCP, I've got the settings to delete all deleted content from ModCP after 30 Days. However, the ModCP Deleted Content is not being deleted and is just piling up. Attached are two screen grabs that show my AdminCP settings and the current status of the ModCP showing dates. I tried adjusting the setting in AdminCP to a shorter time, but that did not kick-start any deletion. Is there a way to fix this without having to manually delete all the deleted content? Thanks.
