  2. Good reason to do backups. Where is "Can manage deleted content"? I do not se that in the group settings.
  3. I just had a moderator delete all his content. I do not see it in the ModeratorCP to restore. Any other way to restore it?

  5. Thank you for your reply! I thought the same think and already have it on for remote link. Adding it as a link from downloads does not show any extension. So I understand now why it wouldn't pick it up. I have started a monthly podcast for my community. The files are large +70Mb. So I am hesitant to start uploading all these files as attachments to posts. There is an option for "downloads descriptions", but I am not sure how that would work. If I upload the mp3 as a download file, I think I would still have to include a link in the description that includes the extension. I'm open to suggestions. 😄
  6. Can I upload my mp3 files to Downloads and insert it as an attachment (from downloads)? The player does not appear this way, but it does appear when I upload the mp3 file as an attachment to a post. Am I doing this correctly?

  10. So if I just wanted to run a one-off contest for several weeks and then turn it off can I do that? We normally run an annual contest each year. Voting spans several weeks. Then we pick a winner and send prizes. The contest comes back the next year. Do you see any limitations? I already purchased and installed so I am trying to figure out how to adapt what I was doing to this.
  11. Can you change "photo of the month" to something else? "photo competition" for example?
  12. I would only want to remove the buttons for the one form. I like to be able to use the form for contact and allow the user to select a category (i.e.; support, advertising opportunities, etc.) But I also use Forms to create specialized forms for various contests on the site.
  13. I see that it ran and picked the winners. Thank you. I guess I just expected it to work like a real life raffle. People were up all night (including me) waiting with anticipation for it to spit out a winner. I only run this raffle once a year. We do a great buildup to it. It is all very exciting. So when the time comes to pick the winners we kind of expect it to be a bit more -- maybe with trumpets or something. 😄 It would be great to have sort of a fancy "winners page" or something that people are directed to afterwards. Thanks again!
  14. My raffles just ended. All say expired -- not completed. No winners were picked. Pick winners toggle is ON. Raffle block in ACP is on. How to I force it to pick winners? I just raised over $2700 and I am going to have some very angry members soon if I can't pick the winners...
  15. I am using this for a contact form. I would like to eliminate as many format buttons as possible -- including attachments.

  18. Upgraded to 4.4 and the 4.4. version Now users are getting a 404 error when clicking on purchase tickets.
  19. I run the raffle as an annual fundraiser -- similar to ticket raffles I run at live events. Around here, they used to refer to it as a "Chinese Raffle". Not sure if that is a regional thing or not. Basically you have several items (prizes) on display. Behind each item is a paper bag. Participants purchase chances (tickets) -- usually $1 each. They fill out the back of the ticket with their name. Then they drop as many tickets they like into the bags that correspond to the prize they want to win. The more tickets they stuff into a particular bag, the more chances they have in winning the item. The advantage to running the raffle this way is you get a lot of cash (ticket sales) right away. This is why I run the raffle on my site in the beginning of the year as this is when all the hosting bills start coming in...
  20. Yes I remember it was like that before. I just assumed it was a setting or possibly a bug. I only run a raffle once a year, so I am just noticing it again. If I understand correctly, if I run multiple raffles all expiring on the same date, the title says: Expiring date ? Why wouldn't it say: Active Raffles or Current Raffles something like that? What do you mean change in ACP? You mean in Languages?

  22. Is there a way to "cart" the tickets from different raffles and pay once or does each item require a separate transaction? Not sure if I have set this up the best way. I have 5 prizes but not everyone wants to purchase tickets for each prize. So I created 5 different raffles. But some people complained that they should be able to purchase tickets from all the raffles and then check out. suggestions?
  23. I love this plugin. Is there anyway to include more content? I would like to use this for linking news articles But often times, I only get just the title, image, and short description. I would like to include an "excerpt" of the news article.
