  1. Past hour
  2. Wondering if maybe there's light at the end of the tunnel yet? Unsure how development cycles like this work, but guessing if development and testing on v5 isn't winding down, we might not see it in May either. Anyhow, holding my breath for some news, if not a release announcement soon. 🙏
  3. Today
  4. Use 365.25 days, as a year is 365.242 days in length (leap year adds up the .242 from the 4 years to add that extra day) When you save it, it will be saved and will be displayed as an hour amount of 8766 hours (=365.25 days)
  5. As mentioned above, we arent (or certainly werent) aware of any issues on 21st. Of course as your site is now online, there isnt anything present to investigate. If you see these happen again, please let us know at the time they are happening
  6. I understand that there were issues on 04/25 that are reported on the status tracker, were acknowledged, and have now been resolved (thank you). I don't understand why my site was down in all locations tested by uptrend on 04/21, and why this downtime was not reported on the status tracker, or why you are not aware of it. I was trying to ask if that 04/21 issue was related to the 04/25 issues, or if this is an isolated issue that should be troubleshot separately? I see a bunch of errors in my log around the time when I detected the downtime: All those errors end with 'MySQL server has gone away', for example: SELECT * FROM `cloud_livetopics_topic` WHERE `topic_topic_id`=136254 MySQL server has gone away Here's the backtrace: #0 /var/www/html/107748/system/Db/Select.php(388): IPS\_Db->preparedQuery('/*u324175::u324...', Array, true) #1 /var/www/html/107748/system/Db/Select.php(446): IPS\Db\_Select->runQuery() #2 /var/www/html/107748/system/Db/Select.php(370): IPS\Db\_Select->rewind() #3 /var/www/html/107748/system/Patterns/ActiveRecord.php(138): IPS\Db\_Select->first() #4 /var/www/html/107748/applications/forums/sources/Topic/LiveTopic.php(40): IPS\Patterns\_ActiveRecord::load(136254, 'topic_topic_id') #5 /var/www/html/107748/init.php(934) : eval()'d code(87): IPS\forums\_Topic->getLiveTopic() #6 /var/www/html/107748/system/Content/Item.php(4769): IPS\Content\cloud_hook_ipsContentItem->commentFormElements() #7 /var/www/html/107748/system/Theme/Theme.php(885) : eval()'d code(5378): IPS\Content\_Item->commentForm() #8 /var/www/html/107748/system/Theme/SandboxedTemplate.php(61): IPS\Theme\class_forums_front_topics->topic(Object(IPS\forums\Topic), Array, NULL, Array, NULL, NULL, Array) #9 /var/www/html/107748/applications/forums/modules/front/forums/topic.php(643): IPS\Theme\_SandboxedTemplate->__call('topic', Array) #10 /var/www/html/107748/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(118): IPS\forums\modules\front\forums\_topic->manage() #11 /var/www/html/107748/system/Content/Controller.php(50): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #12 /var/www/html/107748/applications/forums/modules/front/forums/topic.php(39): IPS\Content\_Controller->execute() #13 /var/www/html/107748/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(153): IPS\forums\modules\front\forums\_topic->execute() #14 /var/www/html/107748/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #15 {main} The very first errors I see in my logs associated to that 04/21 downtime are:
  7. As Marc said, we did have two separate pockets of about 10-15 minutes of degraded performance around 4:45pm (BST) and around 6:15pm (BST). There was a very short period where we cycled our caching layer that was not performing optimally and putting pressure on the database servers. I am not aware of any issues on the 21st.
  8. It can be. I was simply suggesting what would be more sensible (point the subdomain to that IP)
  9. I can certainly see the screenshot there. However as you mentioned in your own post there, ours is not showing it. Dont get me wrong, we acknowledged there was an isssue, which has now been resolved. 🙂
  10. But at the time, uptrends.com showed my site down in all its testing locations throughout the world, as I shared on that screenshot. (Ugh... the anchoring is linking to the wrong post. The screenshot is a little further down.)
  11. This is simply because it was not down as such in most places. It was slow for the most part, so hasnt tripped it
  12. @Marc Stridgen Can new location be an ip address (temporarily) while migrating?
  13. If your test URL no longer points to an existing test instance, yes. However to be honest, wouldnt you be best to simply then point it to the new test location? This is what most people tend to do.
  14. Since posting I set the price to £1 and purchased a ticket myself, and it worked perfectly. And if that's how an invoice with several identical sales but with fields looks, then I think we might conclude that he maybe added two separate goods to his basket. It was gone midnight when he purchased, so attention might not have been as great as it could have been!
  15. @Marc StridgenSo if i just remove the subdomain where test install is, will this help to remove it from Client area? I am under stress now as we are just migrating to a better server! 🙏
  16. OK, we have some confusion here. If you purchased it, then it will have your name on it (as well as the company name). We can change the company name for you no problem. So the license itself is yours. So therefore its your responsibility there to ensure your license details and anything you download is secure. The previous test installation therefore needs to be removed from the server before you can reset it. So you should be contacting the owner of the server you installed it on to have it removed.
  17. @Marc Stridgen I myself purchased it 20 years ago, or so, but now moved to my new company name!! What's the best deal you can do for me? Copyright removal can keep?
  18. Just had a look and while not hundreds of pages, there are redis, template, javascript, and datastore errors. I also experienced other issues with this as well, which can be found here.
  19. I see the same, yes. What does that mean when my site is down but there's no incident listed at https://status.invisioncommunity.com/ ?
  20. Yes, the license is owned by the person who purchased that license, so you should be purchasing a new license for the site if you are a new owner.
  21. My apologies then. I just coupled your response with the previous discussion here and kind of assumed that was the case.
  22. We have 100's of pages of errors in our system log from around 4:45pm yesterday to around 6:33pm (UK time) which seems to coincide with this issue - do other see the same? The errors relate to redis, mysql and template errors so I just wanted to check these all relate to the cloud issues.
  23. I feel you misunderstood what I said there. There is no question whatsoever in believing what happened. it's the reason for it happening I dont believe to be the cause.
  24. It's okay that you don't believe what happened. I have living proof that a user was moved from one group to another at the timeframe in question.
  25. Yes, we have changed ownership. So the best thing is to buy a new licence then? All should be sorted then with a new license code? How to proceed without interruption, as we are moving server as we speak. I seem not be able to purchase a new license with my current login. And we would like to keep the branding removal and the existing months (expiring in Oct/Now)?
  26. That is indeed correct, as otherwise there would be no way in which to choose different options for each of the items.
