WebCMS
On our site, the "community" blog is having the URL "/blogs/blog/5-cricket/". Apparently, after renaming the blog, the URL did not sync with the new name. The url by ID alone "/blogs/blog/5" does not work but strangely partial url "/blogs/blog/5-x" works as it does with topics, etc. Please change the URL to "/blogs/blog/5-community" as there is no way to edit its URL in the frontend or ACP. So please stop wrong accusations without checking the source, code at least. 🙂
Marc
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release. 37 minutes ago, DawPi said: So please stop wrong accusations without checking the source, code at least. 🙂 To be fair, code can be incorrect too. I'm speaking about that part only: 11 hours ago, WebCMS said: The url by ID alone "/blogs/blog/5" does not work but strangely partial url "/blogs/blog/5-x" works as it does with topics, etc. It's done and works as expected. For example part of the furl.json file: "blogs_blog": { "friendly": "blog/{#id}-{?}", "real": "app=blog&module=blogs&controller=view", "verify": "\\IPS\\blog\\Blog", "seoPagination": true }, Friendly part must contain "-" to works properly. Not sure why it should work with a vague URL like /blogs/blog/5-x The correct URL is /blogs/blog/5-cricket Does the vague -x add any SEO value? That was my point 😀 Edited March 8 by WebCMS DawPi
