Which code are you trying to use?  The auto ads or are you trying to place specific ad units?

Hey @Randy CalvertI am trying to verify the ownership of the website. There are three methods for this: AdSense code snippet, Ads.txt snippet, and meta tag. I would like to know how to confirm ownership using the AdSense code snippet method.

We would need more information on this. If you can provide exactly what they are asking for you to do, we can then advise from there. Also, is there a reason you havent gone for the other 2 methods?

I want to confirm the ownership of my website for Google AdSense to be able to place ads. To confirm ownership, I must use at least one of the three possible methods. These methods are: AdSense code snippet, Ads.txt snippet, or the meta tag. I need help in applying one of these methods to successfully verify my website.

• AdSense code typically is applied in your theme's header. You can also place this in the Google Analytics code spot which gets applied in the head in ACP -> System -> Integrations -> Google Analytics.
