Gallery : Exif Tags removed when a user modifies the data of an already uploaded photo

Hello everyone.
I have already reported the case but it has not been resolved.

Gallery. When a photo is uploaded the Exif TAGS are perfectly displayed.
But if the author of the photo subsequently changes the title or description of the photo, when saving, the Exif TAGS are completely removed.

I think it's a bug.

My website is a photographer community. Exif TAGS are very important for us.

Please could I confirm you are running the latest release of the software?

I tested it and can confirm it. It’s hitting “save” that kills the EXIF data. Doesn’t really matter what is changed or if anything is changed at all. It’s just clicking Edit → Save.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
