I've been looking all over this website for hosting requirements for self-hosting for 4.7.9. Anyone know where I can find the list of requirements? All I see is to download some sort of technical coding for compatibility that I really don't understand. Any recommended hosts that offer installation and everything besides IPB Cloud?

There is a compatibility checking script that will help you figure out if you meet the requirements.  That will even include all of the specific PHP modules and memory settings.

Check out:

Yeah. That's the thing I don't understand. I'm hunting for website hosting and I don't want to have to buy it first then find out it's not going to work.

The critical thing is PHP8.0 or 8.1.  When I get home (Im mobile), I’ll run the script and paste the output. That should give you what you need.

Actually they are on the bottom of the purchase page before you purchase it. The software requires secure versions of PHP (currently PHP 8), with GD, mbstring, and all default PHP extentions, along with mySQL.

Could contain: File, Webpage, Page, Text, Advertisement, Poster
