Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted March 26, 20232 yr For some reason my rank images aren't showing on the forums. Any ideas on why that might be happening? It's a new install. I reuploaded all the files twice but still the rank image is missing. Thanks
March 26, 20232 yr Are you referring to this image? Are you using a custom theme on your fresh install, and if so does the issue persists on the default IPS template?
March 26, 20232 yr Author Yes that’s the image that comes out broken. It’s happening on the default and on a custom theme.
March 26, 20232 yr Community Expert Can you please upload a screenshot or something ? Or maybe just rebuild the achievements sys.
March 27, 20232 yr Is this self-hosted or hosted with Invision? If you re-upload and save the image for that rank, does it still appear broken?
March 27, 20232 yr Community Expert Im not actually seeing those missing icons on your site at present. As mentioned, I would reupload them first of all as it looks like they are simply missing from your server

Which folder would they be in from the upload file? Thanks

The file you need to import is \applications\core\data\achievements\ranks.xml You would import it into: ACP > Members > Achievements > Ranks Click on the "Import" button and find that XML I noted above in your local copy.

That fixed it and thanks. I had originally uploaded that file through ftp and twice which I thought would have fixed the issue. Never occurred to me to upload manually through my admin.

So if you wanted to use them in the future, importing through the ACP is the correct way to go
