For some reason my rank images aren't showing on the forums. Any ideas on why that might be happening? It's a new install. I reuploaded all the files twice but still the rank image is missing. Thanks

Are you referring to this image?

Could contain: Logo

Are you using a custom theme on your fresh install, and if so does the issue persists on the default IPS template?

Yes that’s the image that comes out broken. It’s happening on the default and on a custom theme.

Can you please upload a screenshot or something ?

Could contain: Page, Text, File, WebpageOr maybe just rebuild the achievements sys.

Sure Could contain: File, Text, Person, Face, Head

That is not a broken image. That icon lets you change your avatar.

Oops wrong one. Could contain: Face, Head, Person, Text, Baby

Is this self-hosted or hosted with Invision?

If you re-upload and save the image for that rank, does it still appear broken?

Im not actually seeing those missing icons on your site at present. As mentioned, I would reupload them first of all as it looks like they are simply missing from your server

Hey Marc where exactly are they located at? Which folder would they be in from the upload file?

Thanks

The file you need to import is  \applications\core\data\achievements\ranks.xml

You would import it into:

ACP > Members > Achievements > Ranks

Click on the "Import" button and find that XML I noted above in your local copy.

That fixed  it and thanks. I had originally uploaded that file through ftp and twice which I thought would have fixed the issue. Never occurred to me to upload manually through my admin.

Yes, they are the XML files that are used during upgrade and original install, to add those. So if you wanted to use them in the future, importing through the ACP is the correct way to go
