Oreo the Forgotten
Hello, Is there anyone who knows how to implement Steam's (Valve) Oauth2 to login? I can't find a lot of the things I need that are required. SeNioR-
Solution Jim M Posted September 30, 2021 Solution Share Posted September 30, 2021 Have you looked at our Guide here which covers the setup of our OAuth2.0 login handler?: SeNioR-
Oreo the Forgotten
I have looked over the guide and things that I need to input. Everything that I've seen that is provided is used for scripting
Mark H
Can you please clarify what you mean by "... used for scripting" ?
Oreo the Forgotten
What I mean is coding for applications. You can implement their Oauth2 but you have to code it, or at least I think you do. They have documentation but I don't know what to use for have of the things that are in the fields in the AdminCP. Oreo the Forgotten
https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/webapi_overview/oauth This right here is their documentation, I know you can connect it as I know a community called GamingLIght has the option to login with Steam Edited September 30, 2021 by Oreo the Forgotten
Marc
You would need to pull the URLs and scopes that you need to set up in th auth2 setup shown by my colleague above and enter those. We would not be able to assist with actually setting it up or getting the correct information unfortunately. If you are unsure what which items are, you would need to contact that oauth2 provider to ask those questions.
Leuie
Oreo, did you find out how to implement this? I find the replies above to be useless in finding a "how-to"

We provide the facility to use any OAuth 2.0 connection, however its simply not possible to provide a step by step for the millions of OAuth 2.0 connections
