I have an SLATE install with login setup ONLY THROUGH A MASTER INSTALL, but now the master install has been reset, and the slate install can not way to login it.
Please can you tell how can I reset the login method to default?
If I install on it(4.4) the new ips version (4.5), it will let me reset the login method to default?

Do you mean slave install? What do you mean by "reset?"

 

Assumption made here: you've disabled the 'Standard' login method on a site which is using "Another Invision Community" as its login method. As you've reset the other (master) community, the client identifier and secret are now invalid. Result: you can't login as the 'Standard' login method is not there as a backup.
