AmericanRev2 Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 so i want to switch to 4.3 and i wonder what it will break ? i have quite a bit of plugins Does 4.3 break 4.2 plugins and applications?
Adriano Faria Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Apps that uses REPORT will break. We don’t know all the changes yet; we are waiting for IPS to update docs or tell us the changes. You better NOT upgrade and wait for 4.3.0 final.
Nathan Explosion Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Maybe...maybe not. Don't upgrade until you know that your chosen plugins are supported on IPS 4.3 And finally ..it's beta software...upgrade at your own peril, and don't complain if something breaks your site. Sorry for being blunt about that but it has to be said.
AmericanRev2 Posted March 21, 2018 Author Posted March 21, 2018 ill wait until April when facebook will kill APIs, ill be forced to adopt new IPS to keep things working as they should .... from my understanding
Adriano Faria Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 I just added an advice about my resources in my signature. Hope people takes it seriously. ?
RevengeFNF Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 I tested Tapatalk and it can see the forum, topics and posts. Cronology also works. Login and register a new user does not work.

They also have had issues with other software where they don't even follow the framework and hack it together, breaking other extensions completely. It's insane that they haven't hired a more committed developer.
