DanInMS
How do I remove or disable this option ? We only allow avatars/profile photos for those who donate and as of now any user can use an offsite photo without permission.
Woodsman
ACP - Members - Groups (Select or create group) - Social (tab) - Profiles. Check Do not allow photo uploads. Save...
DanInMS
Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, I had that checked but they still can use an offsite URL for their profile pic. I thought maybe I was missing an option somewhere since I'm still learning to get around in 4. Perhaps because they are not uploading a pic but using it from another site maybe this was missed ? Woodsman
What happens if you change the value from 500 to -1 in that same line? Doing this would give it a negative value so in theory no upload can be possible.

Woodsman
After testing this on a local apparently the system recognizes the no photo command but still allows a URL. And @MADMAN32395 is correct where using a negative integer is no longer available. Which brings up another question. If a members photo image is disallowed. Why is a URL possible?@Matt may be able to chime in on this one.

Simon Woods
I would also like to know if this is possible. It has also been brought up here: https://invisionpower.com/forums/topic/427076-preventing-avatar-url-imports https://invisionpower.com/forums/topic/421466-need-the-option-to-disable-the-use-of-import-from-url-for-profile-photos https://invisionpower.com/forums/topic/423611-removing-import-by-url-for-profile-photos
