AutoItScript Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 In 4.0 I've been using Pages to create my menu structure. One of the features that's been missing for me is I have a few menu links that link to other parts of my site and other sites but I want them to open in new tab. Basically a checkbox for custom links to add the target="_blank" part to the URL. I checked out the Menu Manager video hoping that this option would have appeared but I couldn't see it. It's a super simple addition that I hope can be made for 4.1 final.
Storyteller Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Totally agree. I really hope this feature will be added to the Menu Manager.
Peter Drinkwater Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Very much needed as we have multiple other websites which we would rather open in a new tab or window and at the same time keep the existing IPS window open.
VizionDev Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 +1 - It was also be outstanding if you could define rel='follow' / rel='nofollow'
Excalibur Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 +1 Would be nice to have that as an option.
CrossFire-Radio Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 +1 New window/tab would be great feature for the menu.
Cosmic Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 +1 I can't believe it wasn't included in the first place.

LGN Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 By the by, this still works and if you're only looking at simple top menu links to another page, it'll do the trick. https://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/7789-navigation-bar-links/
