How to add full-size images to article?

I'm writing a Pages article and I want to add some images to it and when I do, this is the code that is being added:

<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="FULL IMAGE URL"><img data-fileid="10" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt="" src="THUMBNAIL" /></a>

What I don't understand is why is it forcing a thumbnail? Every time I add an image, I have to go to the source code and manually edit it. Is there a setting that would allow me to add an image without any links or thumbnails?

Well if you have it set to 0 than that could be the problem, it would mean that no large images will be displayed and only thumbnails will be displayed. Try setting it to 1000 and 1000 and see if it fixes it.

Note it's the max size, not the minimum size.

Just did that, uploaded a small 400x300 image and it still generated a thumbnail.

You have to click the plus sign to add it to the post.

That's what I'm doing.
