try uninstal/reinstall

the mod doesn't remove its DB table so it is safe to do reinstall as data won't be lost :)

Need a bit of help here.

I've created a notice (with html in it - basically Google's news widget. I've stated that I want all primary groups to be able to view it (except banned), picked the skins it is to be applied to and then on the apps section I've said Forums and in the list below Board Index - I've not added any other data or specific dates; saved the notice and it appears in the notices list and is active.

Here's the problem - I'm the only one (admin) that can see it - no one else is seeing it, so am I doing something wrong lol.

I've tried some groups and all groups to no joy. Screen shots added so you can see what I'm doing.

do me a favour and remove the skin criteria for now. See if you can view it as a member (and don't select all groups as well)

I have just come across this notice system (can be seen here) I love its minimalist look, just a plain white area with bold text and one 'x' button. I kno you are probably busy with other issues, but in case you were looking for inspiration for your new skins.. :smile:

Well knock me down with a paper bag - that's sorted it. Can view the notices as admin, member and visitor which is what I wanted. Thank you loads for helping out.

Please make the versions like you can pick from (the way you do it for template type). The one at the moment is perfect, just need it on top of forums.

I've been thinking about how to add full support to IPC. Right now the idea is to add an option to IPC that will allow you to create a notice system block that you can parse any where you like. That would give you virtually an absolute freedom about where to parse your notices.

It is one of the secrete features of the next version though.

Is this idea still being considered? Calling this from an IP Content block...
