ᴡᴅツ Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 If I recall correctly, the subscription manager does not allow you to renew your subscription until the day it expires. All of my members have found this an annoying feature because they plan on purchasing subscription in advance (thus adding to the few days they have remaining of subscription). Could it be possible to have this feature implemented?
ᴡᴅツ Posted June 20, 2009 Author Posted June 20, 2009  I know people read this. Could one of the staff members reply?
TrixieTang Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 The subscription manager is going to be turned into a community project after 3.0 final is released, I doubt this feature will be added before that happens. I believe all IPS is doing with the subscription manager for 3.0 is making it work with 3.0, I don't think they're bothering to add anything new to it.
Myr Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 It is a great suggestion then for when it is made a community project. I'd definitely like to see it as well.
Logan Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 I too would like to see this feature. Hopefully it doesn't take too long for the subscriptions manager to start getting active updates as a community project, there are all kinds of features that could be added.

Wolfie Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Should also add the ability to use TrialPay as a form of payment. :D Try something for free, pay for it if you decide to keep it, but either way, the forum gets payment for it and your subscription is paid! :D

Well since I read they have to re edit it bc its being ported from 2.3.6 wouldnt they be able to add some stuff then?

They could.. But then I'm sure those wanting the SM to be released sooner would rather get it ported first and then have things added to it, instead of waiting even longer for it to be released for them to use.
jewelersalert Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Another suggestion for " Subscription Manager " would be that i can set up 2 tabs on my forum page 1 for subscriptions & 1 for advertisements so they can each have different packages set up also to be able to change name on the tabs
ᴡᴅツ Posted August 25, 2009 Author Posted August 25, 2009 wow man.................................................how much longer?
Rοb Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 How much longer for what? There is a stable version available via the customer forums. Not "final" by any means, but certainly usable.
ᴡᴅツ Posted August 26, 2009 Author Posted August 26, 2009 It's RC1. I was told not to use RC1 on a live board. I am waiting for the full release to have a good stable version. I don't want to use RC1 only for it to cause major problems.
Management Matt Posted August 26, 2009 Management Posted August 26, 2009 Regarding the very first post: You have options now to allow a grace period for renewals. This means you can allow, say, 2 days for a renew to take place before demoting the member. You can also allow one to renew a package earlier than their expiration date. With regards to RC2: I'm working on it today. I'm hoping to have it wrapped up this week and final out soon after. RC 2 will be considered stable and we'll support it.
