Yes, don't try to upgrade your existing installation now, as it won't work and you may loose your data. As IPB staff has said, an upgrade path will be released once the software is far enough along.

You do can't update on account of that version Bta does not enable an update.

We can't stress this enough apparently: Don't upgrade using the beta!!

There is an upgrader in PB2... but you sure as heck still don't want to upgrade your live board with it.
