It would be VERY nice if we could add more than one IP or Email to the ban filters at one time - as in paste in a huge list of a range of e-mail domains to ban, i.e. all in one run.

Conversion tracking

User requested through client area conversion tracking enhancements for a future version. Specifically, he needed a direct url (with query string parameters) that he can plugin to google analytics or other software that would indicate a user has succesfully registered. Because most data is sent via post, and we have 301 redirect calls on some of the registration, this would not currently be possible.

Uploading IPB takes FOREVER because it has soooo many files. Why not just have : install.php upload.zip And the install.php will use PHP's zlib to unzip all the files on your server and then take you through the install or upgrade.

illegal IPB Board!

I have found a very serious case, a person named Rail is using IP.Board 2.2.0 that was nuked which is illegal, he didn't buy it at all. Not Only that but the person is also copying a forum name GlitchRock which has copyright on it. This is the forum Rail Made: http://glitchrock.instantddl.com/ I suggest you take action and take the forum down. IPS you are the only hope for taking it down. I'd love to be able to Import and Export IP/Email/Username ban lists. I think, as a community, we can fight those spammers and stop them all. I personally have over 50 entries in my ban list and I'd like to be able to share that information with my friends and the IPB community so that they too can take advantage of the spammers I have personally caught and identified.

I understand that this is not the venue for support, but tickets are not getting submitted in my client area. I fill it out, and submit it, but nothing happens. Also, it isnt letting me make my account for IPS Beyond, so I cant get help there. Sorry, I dont know where else to get help. Cody

In the board settings (2.2.2) there is a feature to send new topics notifications to moderators of the forums. But I want these notifications not only for new topics but for new posts in any topic as well. Is there such a feature or a mod? Thanks!

Report this Post to a Moderator -- spam. You don't even have to be a member, just validating on the forum, and you can "Report a Post" -- in which you'll have all kinds of trash and junk. Let me know if you developers have a solution or if I am missing a setting somewhere. Thanks!

So, I look at the instructions. No special mention of having to run a command line tool at any point. Did I just miss this? I have 300,000 posts. Ok, well some nasty members have been clogging up the uploads folder on my forums. Put this at the end of your forums index.php ?&act=attach&code=attach_upload_process&attach_rel_module=post&attach_rel_id=0&attach_post_key=12cd1252360337ddb50d6a95ef0c090e&forum_id=2&--ff--forum_id=2 No permissions are checked. They upload LARGE script files. Test it. Upload a text file, browse to your root directory and then the /uploads/ directory in FTP then go to your months folder and you'll find the file with a .ipb extensions. The script i uploaded was there when i opened the .ipb file with notepad. It's taking up alot of my space. :(

It could be nice if moderators could mark their topics in colors like in Bug Tracker if they want the topic to be more protrude (or by chosen groups). And another suggestion for the points system, it can be something you can purchase for points.

I got this in my admin panel when viewing the feedback on what version checking done by the software. I made no changes to the board software. Skin Directory Creation Problems in IP 2.3.x

Hi, 1) I have checked everything i.e file permissions of the folder \style_images etc .. Its 777 ! So when I import the new skin then its SKIN part is imported successfully but when I Import its IMAGES part then after the uploading is completed it goes directly to Admin CP's HOME Page !!!! and there is always NO new skin directory created(which I imported) in the folder \style_images etc etc , When I go into skin's setting to match image directory then I only find the directory '1'. Hi, I would like to report several sites for piracy http://www.d2tf.com/forum and http://d2pk.org are using pirated IPB boards, their customer number is zero. I have reported it, but never seen to have gotten a reply. Their host is dreamhost, I have emailed them, and I was told that they would need an email from invision power. Simply email abuse@dreamhost.com would do I think. http://www.d2jsp.org is using IPB 1.3 but claming it as his own. That is a modified and unregistered IPB 1.3 board, but he took the credits off. I believe action should be taken too. Thanks

Cant edit birth-date from admin cp

I was trying to edit a birthdate of a user from the admin-cp but the option there doesnt exist. I can change gender, for example (in the user controls the gender and the birthdate are on the same menu), but there is no option to edit a birth-date. EDIT: I'm sorry, I just noticed I posted this in the wrong forum... this belongs to the bug tracker... :(

Why only a max of 50 messages can be archived? It should be a lot more, is there a good reason why it's set to 50? Members PM limit is way more than 50 so having a higher limit would be better. And, does it archive only the newest PMs? I think that needs to be be more clear. :blink:
