Missing Font For IPBPro Skin

I just opened the IPBPro skin with adobe photoshop and the required FONT is not installed on Windows by default, and it's not supplied in the GDK download either. How can be get the font required

Sorry I posted here again, seems like this is the correct place to post this. Hopefully I'll get a quicker answer then what I've been getting in the Client Area. I keep getting this error when trying to install my IP. I've been told that only IP can fix this because it's a server issue that the memory isn't enough to read the file. Fatal error: Unable to read 85545 bytes in /home/military/public_html/Forums/sources/ipsclass.php on line 0 Any help please?

Recently, I've been going to back to a anime community website who uses another forum system (I think it's vBulletin) and I've seen a feature which allowed people to post youtube or google videos in their forum posts. I was wondering if this will ever be a feature for IPB in a later release or if there is a way to do this in the current build. Before anyone tells me to do so, IPSBeyond.com is down and so I can't post nothing there at the moment so Im only left with posting about this here. Sorry if this something that I should not ask here. :(

Hy I do use the attachments systems on my sites and it will be a good feature on future release to have the option to list, organize, edit attachments per members form their profile or a specific section in ACP but with more details than the existing one. Something similar as the options you do get with the ip download... First I made a post in IPSBeyond but I can't manage to do it in a good way, an d I think It will be another nice feature for a future version of ipb. http://www.ipsbeyond.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=28785 :lol:

Hi everybody, We run a photo forum with some 180 sub-forums organized 3 levels deep. This is all well layed out and quite easy to navigate (with lots of context-sensitive crosslinks between related sub-forums). The structure helps people to find the best-suited place to post their topics and at the same time helps other people to find back information in older threads, which would otherwise be lost among the thousands of other threads. When viewing a topic that has had deleted posts it can get quite confusing (you get similar problems as to what cropped up in the 'ignore feature' thread - people reply to posts which then dissapear and it leaves the other users thinking that the poster is completly nuts as they're pretty much just talking to themselves) I don't know if anyone has ever used the IMDB.com forums but they have something which works well. When a post is deleted, a simple one-line message displays showing "This post has been deleted by the poster" or "This post has been deleted by a moderator". And I think this would work well in IPB. Dear friends! After upgrading my IPB from 2.1.7 to 2.3.1 there appears an error when editing quoted text. For example I quoted a message that contained an emoticon - :) ... But when I started editing this post there was a strange code in post edit form: After submitting the post looked like that: Do you know how to fix this #EMO_DIR# problem and where I can set this damn EMO_DIR in ACP? It seems that this problem with EMO_DIR is very popular. :) Thanks a lot.

Would it be possible to move the configurations in init.php into a seperate configuration file (or make them ACP settings) ? Because, things like the admin path (which incedentally it should be mentioned in the upgrade instructions needs renaming before uploading if you've renamed it) have to be reapplied every upgrade, as init.php is changed every upgrade (because the version numbers are in it) The settings which need to be maintained are IPB_ACP_DIRECTORY, IPB_ACP_IP_MATCH, maybe IPB_ACP_ALLOW_EXEC_URL, IPB_ACP_ALLOW_TEMPLATE_PHP, IPB_MAKE_PORTAL_HOMEPAGE, IPB_ACP_USE_GZIP, maybe KERNEL_PATH (why is that even an option?), LEGACY_MODE, USE_MODULES, CUSTOM_ERROR. Hi Bbcode Quick Access is very useful for admins and users. I do use them myself very often but I don't want my users to use many bbcodes. I know they can reproduce them if you use the tag but it will be a good feature to get a Bbcode Quick Access for everybody and another one specific for admins. A good option for a future release.. :lol:

I don't know if this has already been suggested, or even looked into but here it goes: Have you ever considered adding the Upload feature to the 'Bug Tracker'? Since most visual bugs are reported with screenshots it'd be more convenient and reliable/easy loading if the screenshot was uploaded to IPS, like in topics/posts.

When I installed my board earlier today, I used my hosting IP as I was waiting for the name servers to change. Now my Nameservers have changed at Slaren.com, but my board when you go on topics and things still displays that hosting IP, which I do not want :(! Anyone know how I can change the domain path on IPB?

When you run the "File Permissions Checker", to check permissions in the admin section on directorys and files, and your asked to CHMOD all the PHP files in this directory to writable: public_html/cache/lang_cache/en/ Should I change them to 777 or 666 on a Unix server. I'm taking about the "PHP" files in the "EN" directory.

Some topics have gotten popular and people are really proud of their "High Topic Views" ... this sucks for me because they've got a macro running that keeps clicking their topic. Please build a "last topic viewer" field in the database - so if "Bob 1000" viewed the topic last, and if he views it again immediately (in succession), then the topic view counter won't go up.

I'd like 2 add two points of functionality : 1. I'd like such functionality as default font, font size and default size between sentences (like in Word - half, double) be connected 2 user profile and be chosable from it's CP. I myself along with few of my member on my site thoguht it be cool if each member could customize and or skin there own profiles, like you would on myspace ect, but, i dont think they should bealowed to upload anytihng to it. Just an idea, im aware the idea could lead to possible option for hackers to post codes but imsure theres away around that orr sites like myspace would be hacked alot

Hi Guyz Well I Have Been Watching This Board From About when it was having 2.1.7 However I Have Seen Something Important Needed Which Helps Users A Lot atleast i have seen it and wana have it a proper controlling section to control moderator y do we need thiss because i have seen when we have to add a moderator to a forum and subforum we just select them and add them like we have to add them to about 6-7 forums we add them but when we need to remove them from there we have to do it one by one getting irritated so i was thinking that a inside the acp a new option to control moderator from where we can remove and control moderatorz hope u like the suggestion …
