Is there "IGNORE" feature in IPB?

Does IPB 2.3.3 have IGNORE feature, a feature that users can use to ignore some of the members and not to see his messages?

Yes

Yeah. I use it loads here.

There is, but it really doesn't ignore them sadly... It still shows that they posted, and even shows their post... It just says (where their post is) that this person has posted and provides links to view it. If I want to ignore someone, I don't want to see anything >_<

Exactly... a couple people have been ignored here.... o:)

Like for example, I knew TheStealthGuy posted... >_<...

Just kidding... I don't have ya blocked :P.

The thing is I am to nosy to ignore people :(

it seems to use ignore feature you need to view user profile

The ignore feature doesn't ignore people as well as it should, thus I don't use it. But if it did ...

Having a random gap in posts can often be very confusing. With the current implementation at least you know that a person you are ignoring posted, and you can optionally view the post.

Where that may be true, sometimes you just don't want to know. Some people who can be really annoying bring out the worst in me, and knowing that they posted forces me to look at what they wrote. If I didn't know they posted at all, I wouldn't be temped to look.

I'd agree with that, in my opinion all activity from ignored users should be hidden from view.

Ignore is best used for harassment through PMs, for forum posts there are too many issues with a good implementation.

Impractical to implement, unlike others I have the willpower to be able to not click links to those who I would have on ignore, however, you can read quotes of them from others, which for all intents and purposes are going to be impossible to get rid of.

Basically IPB and vBulletin have the best and really only implementation possible, just vBulletin is all tinyized.

Everyone has their preferences. The problem that comes up is you end up with a topic structure like this

Post 1: Anyone know where to find xyz?

Post 3: Thanks a lot!

When you completely remove Post 2 (because it's someone you are ignoring) it has the extreme potential to make topics HIGHLY confusing. With the current implementation you get

Post 1: Anyone know where to find xyz?

Post 2: (Ignored/not show text)

Post 3: Thanks a lot!

So while you may never look at post 2, you don't end up thinking the poster of Post 3 is absolutely nuts.

I would prefer if, rather than it displaying like a normal post (in which case there is really no need to ignore them as their post is still there in normal post glory) and rather than displaying nothing (which has problems as brandon described) there is simply a single line - which just says the posters username and "You have chosen to ignore this post"....

that's actually reminded me of another similar suggestion I have which will post now, which will contain a screenshot....

Unless of course they are absolutely nuts (w00t)

vBulletin does this, it's kind of nice, but the minimalistic approach makes it really easy to accidentally skip over and not even notice it's there unless you're on the look for it.... in which case you ignore too many people.
