In IP.Board 3 would be nice if the post icon () change it's color when there is an unread post (like it does on vBulletin), it would be more easy to track read or unread posts in a topic. Examples: vBulletin On IP.Board should look like this

Can you wrap the Latest Articles, Mods and Skins columns that are now at the top of every IPS Resources subforum and allow us to collapse it down like we can forum categories? It's a nice addition but if I wanted to know those things my bookmark would be to the IPS Resources home page, and not the forums.

I'd like to see a double-click the post icon and double click the thread title table to edit them feature, also a force post icons option for each individual forum, and possibly being able to only allow certain post icons in different forums. 90% of the time when the site (specifically this forum) is slow, it is related to something calling "server.iad.liveperson.net". I think that this dates back to when you guys have that live chat system on the site and perhaps it is code that should be removed. Is this not the case? Either way, that system is ruining the quality service of the forums...

Make the template search an actual search and not a filter. If I knew the exact name of the template I'm using, I probably wouldn't need to search for it. Bonus points if you make it search the actual content of the templates and not just the titles because again, if I even vaguely knew the name of the template I need, I probably don't need help finding it. "Skin remapping" allows boards, to assign a specific skin based on expressions in the URL. This is indeed a very strong feature, which allows for example to map a certain skin to a limited part of the boards. The current implementation however, allows the admins to map any of the available skins to a certain expression, but this skin is only shown to the visitors if that skin is also regularly available. If the skin is normally hidden, it will not be used for regular members. I would like to suggest that even if an skin is hidden, that is is used if it is set by means of "Skin remapping". This is really a very cool feature that I've been thinking about for a while Ability to program when a post will be published (with user permissions to use this feature perhaps) please think about this! The reason for this is that we're all busy with our jobs and everything, and sometimes we don't feel like writing anything for 4 days, but other times we have plenty of energy to write lots and lots of stuff. Now, if you don't write for 4 days (or more!) users kind of think that the admin has "abandoned" his forum, and they don't bother checking back for a while. I'd like to see a way to just 'switch off' subscriptions. It seems some people are abusing it by subscribing to high traffic forums (and they set up a gmail account to register). I can go edit the skin and comment it out, but it'd be nice it as a standard feature. (unless it already exists, in that case, somebody needs to just point me in the right direction :blink: )

i attention that every version that released have their mods so i thought why don't make a something like Mods installer (for example: all programs of 98 work on xp and even on vista) so why just don't make a option that will activate the mod in special mode and will matched himself to the new code.. something like that. and will run without hung on the current code. thats very useful.. :rolleyes: but the question is it possible?

I want to see what changes have been done on a user's account. It's a freakin HEADACHE to go and make a thread in my admin forum about it , and then a couple days later, somebody responds with, "I think ..." >_< ... and I have to go and use those horrible Admin Logs *shudder* ... and even then I can't really see WHAT somebody did, just that they edited profile. It would save TONS of headache, if my idea was adopted... see amazing photoshopped picture....

We need a better thread history modual. All it realy tells you is who made the thread who made the last reply and other things that you can learn just by looking at the thread. It should tell us... If the thread was ever closed, edited, moved, split, merged etc... Not who wrote it.

I am not sure if this has been discussed here or not, but one huge issue I am having is multiple user accounts on my forums. The IP tools under the Admin CP make it easier to search for multiple accounts based on IP addresses using wildcards - But I would love to see a way to implement a "Possible Multiple Account" task that runs and gives me some sort of notice/report, as currently unless you're really looking hard it is almost impossible to find multiple accounts (I usually get tipped off by other members.) For example, if their IP address matches within a certain range, and registered email addresses match a certain number of characters, etc, I can get a weekly repor…

Approved User creates a topic and the entire area is highlighted Topic Title > Replies > Starter, etc. 2. Ability to set user(s) to show Signatures once per topic page. Security 1. Ban User(s) from Select Forum(s) 2. Easier banniong system where the admin or approved group could ban from the user(s) profile card. 3.
