everytime i mark all boards as read it works fine but when i come back later i find many topics that were marked as read and werent updated marked as unread excuse me for my english :)

As I understand it, you have the "IPS News" forum account just as an extra account to log into to post news, probably so that no specific staff member gets flooded with questions after a news update. What if you guys added a function for "Moderating Team Exclude" or something along those lines to exclude particular accounts from the "The Moderating Team" page, given the fact that said separate account(s) wouldn't actually be mods/admins but just an account with a staff rank under their avatar. I would switch to doing it with a separate "News" account if the whole exclude thing were an option in the acp. Thoughts?

I like the way IPB shows the board stats on the main index page, it no longer takes up 3 or 4 lines. I do think that calendar events needs to be moved below "Our Board Statistics"

I, like many others, choose not to re-purchase IPB, after being a faithful customer and user since it was clear back in freeware, simply because the major part of any forum are the photo and video attachments. With each newer and better upgrade, the attachments were shuffled farther and farther down the priority level. 2.3.1 is our last version. Now a member struggles to figure out how to add even a single attachment, then if the ajax doesn't fail the 5% of the time it is called on, they upload one single file, sitting there, while they wait to individually upload another 20 or 30 attachments, (hoping the ajax doesn't fail yet again while they are adding more phot…

I have about 11 User Groups on my board (including search engines, admin etc) with varying levels of file upload space, download privileges. I find that I have trouble remembering in which order my members are promoted through the various user groups that I have created when it comes to editing Global permissions. Currently I can see that where Global Permissions lists the various Member User Groups in the various section of the AdminCP, they are in alphabetical A-Z order. In the latest IPB release prior to 3.0 you have to manually remove each and every group that you've added to moderate a specific board. Please make like two options 1 saying "Remove all moderation" or something to that effect and perhaps another which you can just click the boxes, and then click "Remove selected" Just like you can massively add 1 group to 50 forums. Hope this makes sense, thanks.

Looks kind of bare on the right side of the main forum index as you scroll down. Are there going to be more widgets to fill in the gap? (in addition to the Recently Added Topics and Watched Content) is widgets the right term? not sure what IPS calls them.

I just want to place a hook on topic view, above or below users online... but no matter what option I choose on HOOK LOCATION, always print my block inside users online. The same happens on Forum View. It's a suggestion. There are several mods/hooks that we can place there... Tks.

Would it be possible if you can add a feature in the View New Content page that allows us to view new content in topics that only we have posted in? This would be very quick and easy in case I would like to check really quick if I have got any replies. I understand there is an notifications system via email for that, but I don't like email notifications eating away at my inbox so it would be cool to just check the page quickly. Edit: Suppose I could also use the Watch Topic feature. But it would STILL be cool to have this feature.

Why can't the post panel be expanded any more? Posting tutorials and other long posts are a pain in the butt without that feature. Also, why can't sub-forums be expanded and closed any more? It seems there are a few changes that have been made just for the sake of it, when you mention the 'Top' button being missing you're treated like a leper. Question: Have 'Insert Options' like YouTube etc. been abandoned now?

99.9% of people who use the internet and indeed forums type an internet address without the http:// and instead use www.website.com Would it be possible to make a www.website.com link a hyperlink without requiring users either use the button or type http:// It would make things much, much easier imo.

I've been using IP.Board for a long time, since 2003 and been paying for it since 2005. So I have to say I have had my ups and downs but the one thing that has kept me to IP.Board over any other forum software (believe me I have thought of moving to something else and even making my own <_< ). But the one thing that has kept as been how easy it is to make it your own, in style and to nearly be able to hook it into nearly anything let it be someone else free sofrware, gallery, blog (almost), even custom stuff thanks to great mods and a just a really good software.
