    Actually, you're incorrect. IP.Shoutbox is an official IPS release and it's released by IPS Resources. Check out the information at IPS Resources. I'm just not bothering with either of these releases because of the problems I'm having with their installs. It's really bothersome that I've had these problems with installing these addons.

    The fact that such a script exists is not really the issue. Now if this topic included instructions on how to 'inject' that script onto a site through a vulnerability in IPS product, then I agree we should all be worried and screaming for the topic to be removed.

    IPB Staff, i have had my ticket open for 20 hours.. and not a single reply , all i want is 2.3.X Converters with instructions...i need them asap , but been waiting for 20 hours..

    Any quick response is greatly appreciated .

    Oh that's irrelevant. We should be able to add any feature someone dreams up and it should run on that Pentium 2 shared server user xyz is using that has 1 GB of RAM and 5 GB hard drive space, with 50 accounts on the box.

    Sometimes the error messages thrown by IPB can be a little bit abrupt and not very user friendly. Particularly those that involve viewing permissions. Perhaps these could be made to be a bit more helpful to the end user in a future version? For example instead of the current "[#103139] You do not have permission to view this forum." how about offering up some reasons as to why this might be the case. e.g "not logged in" followed by links to register or log in. etc.
