Ok for whatever reason, now it works. Thanks anyway 🙂

Would it be possible to select which groups are allowed to use it?

Hello, with activated plugin disappears the line that indicates how many points a user has received.
Is there any way to fix this?
-
I thought I would add the fields myself into the appropriate template "Core/front/profile/fieldtab". Unfortunately the fields have no template key, is there another way?
-
Hello,
is it possible to remove custom profile fields and field groups from the left sidebar and add them under "About me"?
Kind regards

Since 4.7.11 there is this Cookie Consent tool which is not really good.
- The tool apparently only recognizes cookies that are included in the standard scope of the software, own possibly just as important cookies can be rejected and thus the site may no longer be properly usable.
- The tool can not be deactivated and so it is made difficult to use your own Consent tool with more freedom.
- Optional cookies can be enabled or disabled, but I cannot choose which of the optional cookies I want to have and which I do not want to have.
The idea behind this is ingenious, you can save costs for a third-party tool and do something for the privacy at the same time. However, the solution presented here is rather unusable to annoying.
You had said in this post (https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/470548-gdpr-improvements/#comment-2915288) that an opt-in solution is being worked on. Why were the priorities here placed on requesting personal data, requests for account deletion, which has worked well so far via the contact form?
The cookie consent tool solves one problem, but the problem with external content remains. Will anything be done about this in the near future? Currently we do without any external integration, which is now counterproductive.
In general, it would be useful if some functions of the local software would work without external services, such as Twemoji or the IPS spam service (perhaps daily update of a database on the customer's server).

Please update to the latest release, which should resolve the issue you are having there
Ok seems to work now.
However, the integration is still just bad.
The tool uses only the IPS standard cookies as technically necessary cookies. Own cookies which do not come standard from IPS, can not be added to the tool and thus always fall under optional cookies.

I have tested it again now, with the default language it works ... until a restart of the browser.
It's just a disaster for both users and administrators.
It would be better to patch it back to the old system, test it extensively and release it later along with other useful GDPR features such as an opt-in procedure for external media in content (which is urgently needed here in the European region).
After what one reads here so in the forum, this system brings annoyance with most users.
PS: Please do not reset the editor to default settings next time, I had to load a backup.

We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section.
We look forward to further assisting you.
I have updated the information

All updates are up to date.
I can reproduce this with the live and an unchanged test installation. -

I'm not sure what you mean. Setting cookies is currently working otherwise, there would be a lot broken in our software 🙂 .
How that as a guest I have to accept the cookie message every time I reload the page?

This may help if you are developing this yourself:
Is there a way to disable the new cookie system?
-
I have that coming as soon as possible, so it's currently pretty much unusable.
-
Since the latest patch I have problems with setting cookies, it's a disaster!
e.g. I have a Dark/Light Mode Switcher which saves the setting as a cookie in the browser. Doesn't work anymore with the latest update, as well as pretty much all non-standard cookies that don't come from IPS.
Is there any way to change this?
-
Well I already doubted myself, I go like this and the computer says no. 😄
I had tried to move to a database linked topic.
Are there any plans for a fix? If not would be ne other error message Nice, that would save gray harre 🙂

Permissions are all correct.
I just tested it further, corresponding forum topic was generated from a database entry.
I can move to other topics without problems.

Check you have permission to create a topic in the location you are moving to. Whether you have moderation rights or not, if you dont have permission to create a topic, you wont be able to move to that location.
Thanks for the reply.
I don't want to create a new topic, but I want to move posts from topic A to topic B. Is that possible?
-
Hello,
I just tried to move posts from topic a to topic b in our forum. I had to enter the URL of the destination topic.
Then I got the error message a permissions. I am an administrator and have full moderation rights.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

In that case you would want to put those services in your third-party list if you are concerned.
We are looking into opt-in third party loading in a future improvement to privacy controls though. It's an ongoing project 😀
Thanks for the reply :).
It would be nice if the opt-in list has priority. This point is unfortunately also a very important feature.

what about when someone posts a YouTube or Twitter link in a post. Is the content then only loaded after confirmation (opt-in)?

We may bring Courses to Classic in the future. For the moment
I understand that due to technical limitations, LiveTopics and the like cannot easily be brought onto the self-hosted versions.
But I find it cheeky to make this feature cloud exclusive again. The self-hosted versions also cost a lot of money. The cloud solution is not suitable for everyone, some depend on running the software in their own environment. Slowly, the feeling is spreading that "classic" customers are no longer wanted.

Hello. What do you mean? Color, size or what?
Sorry for my late reply, I hadn't seen it.
We have a dark theme and the scrollbars are displayed in classic white (which is not dramatic but just looks ugly).
Another question, would it be possible to get a function to minimize columns?
-
There is a new box called "Recently Commented Images", is it possible to provide such a box for forum posts? The current box is a bit impractical because if you now have a box that displays the last 5 posts and a topic receives 3 replies, the box is already almost full with the same topic.
But the Topic box is just as impractical because: it always shows the date and avatar of the topic creator and not the data of the last poster.
Both are a bit confusing.

Would it also be possible that if you accept cookies are not redirected to the home page? This is not good if you have a page with news and everyone who wants to read it accepts cookies and then ends up somewhere else.
I would still appreciate it if you could turn this thing off.
