  1. When a user tries to access for example a bookmarked page such as "unread content" (which some of our users have set to as their browser's default page), if the user is not logged in, they see this negative statement, rather uninviting message. Couldn't they see a Sign in form instead, with a positive message inviting them to sign in such as "to view this stream, please sign in"?
  2. Here's something that happens all the time: I go to the forum and I see that a thread was answer. I go to the thread and read the answer. I reply to that answer. Now I see I have a notification on my notification bell (that was already there before but I hadn't seen it). I click the notification bell and the notification is about the answer I just read (#2) and replied to (#3). My feature suggestion would be to make the item inactive in the notification list and menu after I've accessed that item - even if I didn't go to my notification menu.
  3. That's not a solution to this problem. That doesn't prevent people from leaving too many empty lines before or after what they write.
  4. I definitely agree with Interferon. I have the "Trim empty lines in posts" add-on and it's great, but it doesn't always work, and this is something that should be built-in really. Like @Interferon, I spend an insane amount of time editing user posts to remove those double lines. Or 1 line plus one paragraph like this next one. See that? That was a shift-enter and then enter. That one is two enter. These have become an issue since switching to Invision Community. 🙄
  5. I suppose that covers the "Who's viewing" and "Who's typing" parts, but what is the "2 Live Topics/month" feature exactly?
  6. You're correct, I use GD now and can upload animated .gif images again. Thank you! Is there any downside to using GD?
  7. Ok just now I wasn't able to upload a file. The uncompressed file is 516 KB and my upload limit is: Max total size: 48.83 MB Here's the file I was trying to upload: display-quantize.gif.zip Here's a screen capture of the error I got:
  8. Problem is, I've had legit users try to register that were flagged as spam defense score 4, so if I had not approved them manually or if I had not allowed them to register they couldn't have joined the community. 😬
  9. Unfortunately the user now deleted the image. If the issue reoccurs I'll post here again. Thanks!
  10. I was finally able to resolve this. Some of the custom CSS I had added to that page was conflicting with some of the Invision Community CSS.
  11. Oh ok I understand what you mean now. However the custom tag I entered is the one I want, only it's working half the time for some reason. But here the Invision software is doing its job correctly and I can see the og:image:secure_url tag is added to the page code as expected, it's just FB acting weird for some reason.
  12. I'm not sure what you mean regarding a default tag? Apparently the image you had when sharing my homepage was just the first image Facebook scraped off the page, as my homepage does not have an og:image tag. When I go to ACP -> System -> Search Engine Optimization -> Meta Tags, all I see is the custom tags I've entered:
  13. The URL I'm trying to share is https://www.logicprohelp.com/logic-pro-book/ and I entered a different og:image:secure_url using Invision Community's Live Meta Tag Editor. The debugger shows the correct image (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.logicprohelp.com%2Flogic-pro-book). I shared the same URL again using another Facebook account and it showed the correct image. My problem is that when I share the same URL on one of my business pages on Facebook, it shows a blank image. I suppose that since the FB debugger shows the correct image, the issue has nothing to do with Invision Community.
  14. JakobP, and he finally managed to upload the issue a while later in that post: https://www.logicprohelp.com/forums/topic/142531-is-there-a-way-to-make-a-wetdry-knob-for-logics-modulator/#comment-826165
  15. Thanks. However here I've set up an og:image in the meta tags, that's the one I want to be displayed.
  16. The max image size is 2000 kB per content item and the user was trying to write a one line answer along with a single image.
  17. I contacted the user to ask what happened, he said:
  18. I shared a link to a page (built using Pages) on Facebook but the og:image does not show up on Facebook. When I use the sharing debugger on Meta I see: Missing Properties The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id Does that mean I need to create a Facebook app so that I can add an og:app_id to the page before the image will show up in Facebook?
  19. Now a new user has reported having issues uploading an image again. Here's what I found in the log: DATE/TIME TYPE MESSAGE 06/08/2022 12:06 PM upload_failure DomainException (0) d3c52159e51c90ae878027501bdcf9b0 06/08/2022 12:04 PM upload_failure DomainException (0) e25bcc965f96f4a267606f12a42459a5 #0 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Helpers/Form/Upload.php(748): IPS\_File::createFromUploads() #1 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Helpers/Form/Upload.php(305): IPS\Helpers\Form\_Upload->processUploads() #2 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Helpers/Form/Editor.php(725): IPS\Helpers\Form\_Upload->__construct() #3 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Helpers/Form/Editor.php(176): IPS\Helpers\Form\_Editor->getUploader() #4 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Content/Controller.php(2469): IPS\Helpers\Form\_Editor->__construct() #5 /home/logicpro/public_html/applications/forums/modules/front/forums/topic.php(1196): IPS\Content\_Controller->_edit() #6 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Content/Controller.php(2207): IPS\forums\modules\front\forums\_topic->_edit() #7 /home/logicpro/public_html/applications/forums/modules/front/forums/topic.php(1224): IPS\Content\_Controller->__call() #8 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(90): IPS\forums\modules\front\forums\_topic->__call() #9 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Content/Controller.php(50): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #10 /home/logicpro/public_html/applications/forums/modules/front/forums/topic.php(39): IPS\Content\_Controller->execute() #11 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(153): IPS\forums\modules\front\forums\_topic->execute() #12 /home/logicpro/public_html/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #13 {main}
  20. I tried the same image and did not get any errors, it uploaded normally. Here's the image and I filled out the ACP access information. 10.6.3 2022-06-04 at 11.52.55 AM.png.zip Thanks!
  21. Most of our members upload images on a regular basis without a problem, yet one member has problems uploading .png screenshots to our community. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work for him. He sent me the image he was trying to upload and I was able to upload it without any issues. Here's what he is seeing: Here's the log in my system: #0 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/File/File.php(398): IPS\_File::validateUpload() #1 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Helpers/Form/Upload.php(748): IPS\_File::createFromUploads() #2 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Helpers/Form/Upload.php(305): IPS\Helpers\Form\_Upload->processUploads() #3 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Helpers/Form/Editor.php(725): IPS\Helpers\Form\_Upload->__construct() #4 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Helpers/Form/Editor.php(176): IPS\Helpers\Form\_Editor->getUploader() #5 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Content/Item.php(4749): IPS\Helpers\Form\_Editor->__construct() #6 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Content/Item.php(4539): IPS\Content\_Item->commentFormElements() #7 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Theme/Theme.php(880) : eval()'d code(5207): IPS\Content\_Item->commentForm() #8 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Theme/SandboxedTemplate.php(61): IPS\Theme\class_forums_front_topics->topic() #9 /home/logicpro/public_html/applications/forums/modules/front/forums/topic.php(562): IPS\Theme\_SandboxedTemplate->__call() #10 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(101): IPS\forums\modules\front\forums\_topic->manage() #11 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Content/Controller.php(50): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #12 /home/logicpro/public_html/applications/forums/modules/front/forums/topic.php(39): IPS\Content\_Controller->execute() #13 /home/logicpro/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(153): IPS\forums\modules\front\forums\_topic->execute() #14 /home/logicpro/public_html/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #15 {main}
